ANNIVERSARY
Celebrating their first anniversary in May and June, Galeries Lafayette
presented their Fashion Festival Anniversary where they hosted a
special program to cater to the trendier fashion citizens of Jakarta. At
the entrance of Galeries Lafayette, color splashed window displays
greeted each passerby. On the Ground Floor, a Pop Culture Fashion
Photo Exhibition was organized and set up by Galeries Lafayette
and Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia. The exhibition showcased fashion
photography by contemporary Indonesian photographers of Harper’s
Bazaar’s most suitable fashion spread from Nicoline Patricia Melina, Kay
& Moreno, and many others.
Galeries Lafayette also took this opportunity to introduce four young
and talented designers from ESMOD Jakarta in 4 COLORS Pour la
mode. Each of these four designers’ collections were also displayed at
Galeries Lafayette during the anniversary event. Stirring things up with

Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees
it. In an event that ran for four days, A Fantasy
of Flowers, MAC Cosmetics revealed the hidden
beauty in every women at Metro Corridor, Ground
Floor from 8 – 11 May, 2014.
Pink, fuschia, and green were the primary colors
of the event. Unlike other make-up sessions,
the model was dressed up in a pink tutu skirt
symbolizing the fantasy theme that MAC

In the beginning of the story, Lt. Col. William “Bill”
Cage (Tom Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a
day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped
into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within
minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown
into a time loop forcing him to live out the same
brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again
and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able
to engage the adversaries with increasing skill; he is
tutored by Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily
Blunt), who is aware of the time loop and how to
exploit it. And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the
aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step
closer to defeating the enemy.
