GALAPAGOS TOURS
Your Personal Guide to Nature's Wonder
DAY 1
To improve your discovery of Galapagos, I advise
to book at least a 5 or 8 day tour... believe me, it
will be worth it! Thanks to Eduardo Landazuri to
have proposed us this week, someone you can
trust completely as we booked and bought all
this adventure through his website!

We hiked, we dived, we snorkeled, we swam
with penguins... in all this was a sensational
holiday! We came from Australia not knowing
what to expect and found this jewel.

Highland tour
Charles Darwin
Research Station
Our guides will meet and
greet you at the airport.
You'll cross the scenic
Itabaca Channel to Santa
Cruz Island. No time to
waste! We'll whisk you up to
the highlands of Santa Cruz
Island to visit the Primicias
Ranch Giant Tortoise
Reserve. See these amazing
animals in their natural
habitat, a unique experience.
Lunch is provided and then
on to the hotel.
In the afternoon, you'll tour
the Charles Darwin Research
Station, and discover how
scientists from around the
world are working together
to study and preserve the
unique species of the
Galapagos Islands. Dinner in
a hand-picked local
restaurant
finishes the
perfect first day.
DAY 2
Floreana Island Tour
We'll make an early start to
get a jump on a unique
colony of marine iguanas on
Floreana. From there, we'll
creep up on the endemic Las
Galapagueras turtles in their
natural habitat, right at the
peak of the island.
Step back in time to The Cave,
and see where the very first
inhabitants of Galapagos lived.
Located south of the
Archipielago, Floreana
Island is also called the
Island of a Thousand Hills.
Discover the awesome
underwater volcanic cone -evidence of a continuous
and prolonged volcanic
activity of a not too distant
past, and a perfect place to
snorkel with the wildlife!
tropical fish, sea turtles, reef
sharks and manta rays at
Champion Islet.
On our way home to dinner,
we'll circumnavigate Enderby
Islet, where we can watch
nesting colonies of frigate
birds, masked boobies, blue
footed boobies, tropical birds
and swallow-tailed gulls.
DAY 3
PHOTO CALL!
will be very happy to recommend your services to
anyone I know who would be considering

CANAL DEL AMOR: Known as
the Love Channel in English,
this is an unmissable natural
fluke. You won't believe
these colors and shapes
could happen by accident...
Enough for one day? Not
yet! Grab your snorkels and
rub shoulders with sea lions,
The guides took us to some breathtaking hikes to every island we
visited. The landscapes and scenery
were unique. Snorkeling was also
included in the package so we had
some wonderful experiences with
Galapagos marine life too.

LOBERIA: Located 2 miles
from Puerto Ayora, this place
is ideal for snorkeling with
the beautiful, friendly and
curious wildlife.
SHARKS CHANNEL: Located in
Punta Estrada, meet a
harmless colony of gully
sharks. Don't worry -- they are
no more scary than koi carp!
After an
excellent lunch, we'll head
to the boats and sail to Punta
Luz del Dia and Corona del
Diablo. We will
circumnavigate the
islands for a chance to
bird watch.
Guides to the islands were very good indeed... The accommodations and food were first class.
Charge your batteries: you'll
have tons of opportunities to
get the dream photos you have
been waiting for on day three.
We also give you a half-day
off, to explore, swim, or get in
some beach time.
LAS GRIETAS: Take a
leisurely stroll through the
Galapagos salt mines, and
you'll come to The Cracks,
geological giants facing off
across incredible waters full
of wildlife, ideal for
swimming and scuba diving.
We'll take you back to Puerto
Ayora town for lunch, then
leave you to your own
devices until dinner time.
DAY 4
Isabela Island
Half the surface of Isabela
Island is a unique and striking
lunar landscape of sterile
lava. The island is THE place
to see many of the Galapagos
bird species.
We will spend our day watching penguins, blue footed
boobies, masked boobies, and
the occasional flamingo.
Lunch is at a charming local
restaurant. After lunch, we
will snorkel in Concha y Perla
Bay, swimming alongside sea
lions, sharks, penguins and
iguanas.
Isabela Island is a paradise
for bird lovers! Located
west of Santa Cruz, Isabela
was formed by six volcanoes merging into a single
island. It's one of the
hottest islands of the
Galapagos archipelago, and
one of the most active
volcanic regions.
Congratulations Zuri,
thank you for organizing
this tour, great service!
Wonderful crew, guests
and SC Naturalists made
this trip memorable, my
first south of the Equator.

DAY 5 and 6
Choice of Bartolome, North Seymour,
or Plazas Island (one island per day)
Be prepared for non-stop exhilaration and
fascination. I was very sad when the Galapagos
land tour came to an end so be sure to take tons
of photos to document the experience.

Need a break? Next we'll
stretch out on Villamil Beach.
The sun and sea make it one
of the most beautiful beaches
of the island.
The tour guides in the Galapagos islands
were knowledgeable, the crew on each
boat were friendly and helpful and the
Hotel Palmeras Zuri booked for me was
clean and centrally located. Thank you
Zuri for helping me last minute, I will
never forget this trip!

We let you tailor your days
five and six. Set your own
pace: do you feel energetic,
or lazy?
BARTOLOME ISLAND: We'll
trek on a fairly steep trail, up
wooden steps to the summit.
It's well worth the effort, as
there is a spectacular view of
the Galapagos scenery from
above. Interesting lava
formations and tuff cones
can be observed. Sea lions
and penguins swim in the
vicinity of Pinnacle Rock.
Enjoy snorkeling or swimming
from the beach.
NORTH SEYMOUR ISLAND: A
stroll on flat terrain allows
the observation of Palo Santo
trees and colonies of
blue-footed boobies,
swallow-tailed gulls and
magnificent frigate birds.
Towards the other side of the
island, the ocean crashes
against the rocks and sea
lions surf in the waves.
PLAZA ISLAND: This small
island is full of fascinating
wildlife, along the shore and
up on the cliffs: sea lions,
land iguanas, swallow-tailed
gulls, Opuntia cacti, and
vegetation that changes
colors with the seasons.
DAY 8
DAY 7
Twin Pit Craters
Free day
The service and guidance to
Galapagos was seamless and the
accommodations and people at
the resort where we stayed were
beyond our expectations. Day
after day we were greeted by
fabulous mornings of friendly
staff and great food.
Exploring Galapagos can be
exhausting, so we included
a day of relaxation for you.
Rodger Shamblin (Raleigh, NC USA)
After breakfast, you can
enjoy the facilities in your
hotel, or explore the town
of Puerto Ayora's many
shops and galleries. Lunch
and dinner will be booked
for you in our favorite local
restaurants in town.

Hit the beach to top up your
tan, download your photos,
and relax!
Not exciting enough for
you? Speak to our tour
guides about arranging
horseback riding, scuba
diving, or many other
optional activities.
After breakfast and checking
out of your hotel, we'll stop at
the Twin Pit Craters. These
massive depressions of volcanic material were formed by a
long, slow sinking of the
ground. Here you'll see exceptional Scalesia trees, ferns,
mosses and orchids.
Then, we'll accompany you
back to the airport. It's time to
end your Galapagos adventure, but we hope to see you
again soon!
We liked the mix of ship 'luxury' with the intimacy and
excellent knowledge of the naturalist guides on our small
group excursions... Would recommend Zuri and his
contacts for anyone's trip to Ecuador, Galapagos and
Napo rainforest.
Deborah Shepard (California, USA)
This fantastic Galapagos crew peaked our
interest with interesting lectures and outdoor
activities every day. The food was wonderful,
the SC Naturalists in the Galapagos islands
were unbelievable.
