Mo’ D’time
A masmid(a) isn’t necessarily someone who learns all day, but it is someone who learns every day. Learn one Mishna a day (or 5
Pesukim, for younger children) this summer, and you’ll receive a great prize at the successful conclusion of each and every week.

for those completing a Seder of Mishnayos during this contest!
INFLEXIBLE, INVIOLABLE, IRONCLAD ENCHIRIDION**:
1. While we encourage reviewing, learning of a different Mishna must take place every
day. Children who are unable to learn Mishnayos may recite 5 Pesukim. Those unable
to do that may repeat the words of the Pesukim as they are recited by an adult or
learning partner. If you miss a day, please see rule number 9.
2. Appropriate learning may be substituted on Tisha B’Av.
3. Diligently use the calendar on the other side to keep track of your daily learning.
4. Chavrusa, Rebbe, parent, child or other learning partner must sign within 48 hours
of learning. If not, call 443-660-9132 for a hetter.
5. Use the first line to list the mishna learned or pesukim recited; use the second line to
list the person with whom you learned; use the third line for that person’s signature.
In accordance with the Great Time and Ink Saving Act of Summer 5763, once the
learning partner has signed once, he/she, may use initials thereafter for
authentication.
6. Each weekly prize depends upon successful completion of that
session’s learning (including previous weeks). Additionally, those
over Bar/Bat Mitzvah must complete an entire Mesechta (yes,
Pirkei Avos counts, too) during the course of this contest. Any
masmid(a) learning an entire Seder of Mishnayos must also
do so in the course of this contest. In both cases, only one
Mishna per day needs be listed and verified.

9. Even if you miss a day, you may be eligible to continue. In a radical departure from
previous contests, and with the goal of increasing Torah study, if a Mitzvah Motivatee
misses a day (that’s ONE day) during the course of either session of this program,
he or she must call the Mitzvah Motivator Chief Justice personally at 443-660-9132,
and present a really, really, really good reason. Pending a meeting of the Mitzvah
Motivator High Council (M. Mo Aitzas, for short), a dispensation may be granted
following an additional assignment, and the Motivatee may be allowed to
continue in the program.
