This allows both the 4.1 mm and 5.0 mm diameter implants to accept the same prosthetic components. Each implant diameter is available with a 1.8 mm transgingival collar. A 1 mm low profile cover screw is packaged with each implant. A reamer is also available to clean out the retaining screw hole in the casting. Gold base Hexed UCLA abutments should be used for custom abutments and for supporting crowns as they will resist the rotational forces associated with single tooth screw retained restorations. The UMA screw used to secure the restoration to the abutment is packaged with each UMA plastic coping. External hex ENDOPORE® BICORTICAL ® E ndopore Implants with external hex for one-stage and two-stage surgery Endopore Implants with external hex are compatible with a wide variety of prosthetic products for crown and bridge and overdenture restorations including UCLA, UMA, Dalla Bona, Overdenture and O-Ring Abutment Systems. All implants are packaged with colour coded labels that identify their diameters. All prosthetic components must be matched to the diameter of implant to which they are to be connected. Abutment labels have the same color coding as the corresponding implants. 21 ENDOPORE® External hex Endopore Implants with external hex The Endopore External Hex Connection implants are available in three diameters: 3.5 mm, 4.1 mm and 5.0 mm. A low profile cover screw is packaged with each implant. The 4.1 mm and 5.0 mm diameter are available with a 1 mm or 2 mm smooth coronal region. The 3.5 mm diameter implant is available in a 1 mm smooth coronal region. 22 3.5 mm diameter implant The 3.5 mm diameter implant is packaged in a red labeled box (01M-range). This implant has a 0.9 mm high x 2.0 mm flat-toflat hex and a UNF thread. 4.1 mm diameter implant The 4.1 mm diameter implants with the industry standard hex are packaged in green labeled boxes (01B-range). These implants have a 0.7 mm high x 2.7 mm flat-to-flat hex and a metric thread. 5.0 mm diameter implant SCR* The 5.0 mm diameter implants are packaged in turquoise labeled boxes (01WB-range). These implants have a 0.9 mm high x 2.7 mm flat-to-flat hex and metric thread.
