LENS TECHNOLOGY: How it Works
• Contrary to conventional thinking, our lenses actually let in more light [twice as much] than ordinary sunglasses.
• More light means better depth perception, especially helpful around the greens when reading putts and chips.
• However, more light means more glare, so we added a polarizing filter to counter
this effect. Then added a blue-green flash mirror to better manage confusing short
wavelength light
• Finally, we designed lightweight frames that maximize adjustability, comfort and protection while fully exploiting the benefits of our technologically-advanced lenses

The Callaway Micro Rangefinder delivers the benefits of both Laser and Prism
technology within one ultra compact, lightweight device. For courses that have flagsticks
with built-in reflectors, Prism mode is ideal for quickly acquiring the distance to the pin
with minimal effort and a high degree of accuracy. To acquire distances to other objects,
Laser mode allows you to scan the landscape for distances to hazards, trees, front of
the green, etc. When playing a course without flagstick reflectors, simply stay in Laser
mode throughout the round and engage P.A.T (Pin Acquisition Technology) to lock onto
the flag quickly and accurately.
