Nothing - it's free! but please register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won't get a time. “The group usually meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month but can be flexible. By its nature it is mainly a social get together and we share interests and experiences and discuss topics raised by speakers from the U3A monthly meetings. We decide democratically amongst the group where we will eat the following month and we have enjoyed a range of different venues such as Haddon House, The George at Chideock, ‘Montein’ the Thai restaurant, Mangerton Mill, the Egg Cup, Washingpool, Hive Beach Café and Avenue in Bridport to mention a few. Being a tourist area there is a wealth of places to choose from and we have only been back to the same place once or twice over the three years we have been going. We must run out of venues eventually!” Dorset Cancer Health Information & Support Scoping Project Jane Simkin & Sam Taylor, February 2016 Leader: Lois Edwards Telephone: 01308 482605 8 Bridport and District U3A Lunch Club 2 “Lunch Club 2 generally meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. This is a social event when we can meet together to exchange news and views, and it is an opportunity to sample our many excellent local restaurants and pubs. Each month a different member can choose the next venue and undertake to make the booking, so eventually we can all get to our favourite place.” Buckland Newton – Lunch Club Café Refresh, Dorchester Baptist Church Every Wednesday morning the church lounge is open. We serve excellent coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soft drinks and a variety of sweet and savoury snacks for a small donation. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere – everyone is welcome.
