According to NSO standard, Guinsaugon will be the smallest barangay in terms of population due to the fact that it registered 0 in the 2007 NSO population survey. This was so because the old site became a ghost barangay after the 2006 Guinsaugon tragedy. It was also the major cause of their IRA share reduction, making it more difficult to recover and rehabilitate from disaster.
