A Force to be Reckoned with
The H5 is powered by either a 2,4-litre petrol or 2,0-litre VGT turbodiesel engine. Selected as one of China's Top 10 engines in the 2010 Chinese
Hearts Awards, the in-house developed VGT engine meets European IV emission standards and boasts dual-overhead camshafts, high-pressure
common-rail direct injection, a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT), an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system and an automatic valve
clearance compensator. All of that technology does not only exist to make the VGT more powerful, but also more refined.
The VGT engine delivers a power output of 1 10 kW at 4 000 rpm with maximum torque of 310 Nm available between 1 800 and 2 800 rpm.
This engine is available with manual or automatic transmissions, and in 4x2 or four-wheel drive.The proven 2,4-litre petrol engine, meanwhile,
offers a power output of 100 kW at 5 250 rpm and maximum torque of 200 Nm at 4000 rpm. It is coupled with a five-speed manual transmission
- a 4x4 model is also offered.
