It is our chance to enjoy each other’s company, have a little fun and show our commitment to the coming school year. Each year, the school budget relies heavily on the success of this fundraiser. That success depends on you! Through the hard work of our Auction Committee, volunteers, school staff along with the generosity of every school parent, our auction continues to be a great source of pride. Open your hearts enjoy this fabulous evening and BID FREELY! Every time a bid goes up, our goals are closer to being realized. Your generosity tonight will be our children’s reward all year long. We truly appreciate whatever you are able to give. Our deepest thanks to all of our families, Principal Brian Anderson, all of the teachers and staff, Father Mark Guzman, church staff and parishioners, and all of the many businesses who contributed so generously. Gratefully the 2014 Auction Committee: Kate Brashears – Auction Coordinator Penny Ziemer – Family Procurement Teresa Gillett – Alumni/Parishioner Coordinator Heidi Westling – Dessert Dash Coordinator Kristen Carlson – Class Project Coordinator Brian Alm – Graphic Design Bonnie Kraskouskas – Catalog Layout Steve Deibert – Technical Advisor Jody Toepfer – Reservations Renee Lindstrom – Reservations Philip Orquia – Live Auction Presentation Thuy Vu – Fund-a-Need Presentation Jenn Ambrose – Venue Décor Nina Graff – Business Procurement Lisa Pageler – Administration Danae Hollinger - Administration Welcome Dear St. Benedict Catholic School Supporters, Welcome to the 14th annual St. Benedict Catholic School Auction. This year’s move to a larger venue is an exciting new step for the auction. What started as a small fundraiser in the auditorium has evolved into a major event in the life of the school! As the cost to educate students gradually climbs higher our annual auction is the single most effective way that we are able to keep tuition costs as low as possible. Every dollar you spend at the auction goes directly into our operating budget. It would be hard to find a more enjoyable way to reduce tuition costs! Not only this, but the auction allows us to make school improvements that would not otherwise be possible. This year’s Fund-A-Dream is a perfect example of an improvement to our school programs that would be impossible without the support of the auction. The planned technology upgrades will allow us to better integrate computers into our classrooms and put these important new tools into the hands of our students. It is only with your help and generosity that St. Benedict Catholic School is able to continue its tradition of providing strong academic and spiritual instruction. Thank you for joining us tonight as we support Catholic education. Sincerely, Fr. Mark Guzman Pastor Brian Anderson Principal Registration & Express Pay When you arrive, please check in at the Registration Table located in the Lobby. At this time, you will receive a registration packet that will contain your bid number and table assignment. Your bid number is to be used for both the silent and live auctions. After registering, you will be asked to leave an imprint of your credit card that will be processed into your auction file. This allows the St. Benedict bank to process your purchases in a timely manner . A final copy or your itemized receipt will be mailed home.
