Embedded automation control >>> OSAI SyncMotion is the PC-based and completely OPEN automation system for the control and visualization of general technical processes in machine, factory, process or building automation. A standard PC hardware platform allows to achieve maximum benefits in terms of power, computational speed, cost effectiveness and availability of standard peripherals. The low-power CPU (without fan) and the solid state disk ensure reliability in industrial environments. WindowsCE.Net 4.2 the embedded operating system from Microsoft ensures reliability, performance and a high level real-time. This new automation solution is proposed as a PanelPC with 6.4”, 10.4”, 12.1” or 15” TFT and touch screen, ideal for mounting on machine, or as black box, if the customer wants to take care of the operator interface on his own >>> SoftPLC engineering >>> SyncMotion 12” >>> SoftPLC: the integrated SoftPLC run-time module is designed for complex and time-critical operation. The engineering tool is a user friendly, graphic oriented environment allowing high level and multitasking, IEC 61131-3 compliant programming. Users can choose among five different programming languages to best fit their preference and the application: Instruction List, Ladder Diagram, Function Block, Structured Text or Sequential Flow Chart. The standard IEC 61131-3 libraries are completed with a, continuously expanding, motion control library to manage synchronized axes motion tasks. Homing, positioning, velocity or torque control, master slave synchronization are some of the axes function blocks included in the motion library. A symbolic debugger allows step by step execution, setting breakpoints and monitor variable values at run-time. Application downloading and debugging is based on a standard Ethernet TCP/IP communication between the engineering tool and the control unit. >>> Fieldbus: OSAI SyncMotion includes a CANopen master interface provided of dedicated processor to avoid overload to the main CPU. Distributed modular I/O’s and intelligent brushless drives are connected directly to the CANopen. A standard configuration tool, accessible from the SoftPLC engineering, can be used to setup the CANopen network and to easily add any third-party, standard device. As an option, also Profibus can be supplied as fieldbus. >>> HMI: automation requires also a sophisticated user interface. OSAI SyncMotion optionally includes MoviconCEOnBoard, the run-time module of Movicon9.1 a SCADA software and HMI visualization tool, easy-to-use and extremely powerful, worldwide employed to visualize , control and supervision any automation application. salesgmc@osai.it Via Torino 14 - 10010 Barone C.se (TO) - Italy Phone: +39 011 9899711 - FAX: +39 011 9899719 www.osai.it OSAI SyncMotion software architecture OSAI Shared Memory Area CANopen SoftMotion master OSAI SCADA/HMI SoftPLC runtime runtime SYNCMOTION 6,4” SYNCMOTION 10,4” Geode 300 MHz low power VIA Eden 400 MHz low power SYNCMOTION 12,1” SYNCMOTION 15” SYNCMOTION SM-BB CONTROL UNIT Hardware CPU Memory NVRAM 32Kb for SoftPLC retentive variables 128Kb for SoftPLC retentive variables RS-232, RS-232/422/485, LPT, USB, Ethernet 100MHz, VGA Output, PS/2 Power, PLC Run, CANopen Fault 10,4” TFT SVGA 12,1” TFT SVGA 15” TFT SVGA (800 x 600) (800 x 600) (1024 x 768) Led 6,4” TFT VGA (640 x 480) Resistive Touch screen CANopen 24Vdc ±10% Housing Protection - Windows CE.NET Power Supply Dimensions /cut-out - 1 Dedicated processor with dual port interface Operative System Front Panel low power 64Mb or 128Mb RAM, 32Mb or 64Mb DiskOnChip Standard Interfaces Display VIA Eden 733 MHz Metal box for wall mounting Panel PC with metal structure and back cover Painted steel (FV) 210x180x98 mm / 196x169 mm Painted steel(FV) or INOX + protective film (FI) 305x250x86 mm / 282x234 mm INOX + protective film (FI) 345x266.5x88 mm / 316x248 mm 370x296x88.5 mm 210x197x61.5 mm IP20 with IP65 on the front panel SoftPLC Programming Languages Tasks Variables Data Types Function Libraries Preemptive multitasking with minimum scheduling time of 2ms IEC 61131-3: Instruction List, Ladder Diagram, Function Block, Structured Text, Sequential Flow Chart No limits on the number of tasks, 25 created by default Time driven or event driven tasks (32 predefined events + 32 user defined events) 10 levels of priority can be assigned to each tasks; round-robin scheduling for tasks with same priority Watch dog and overrun protection for each task Cold and warm start behavior Possibility of incremental reconfiguration during run-time Input, Output, Input/OutputLocal (unlimited), Global (1Mbyte), Global retentive (128 kbyte) BOOL, BYTE, WORD, DWORD, INT, DINT, REAL, LREAL, TIME, STRING, STRUCT, ARRAY, ARRAY STRUCT IEC 61131-3 Standard libraries: arithmetical, logarithmic and trigonometric functions; string, selection, compare and type conversion functions; system diagnostic functions; time, flip flop, trigger and counter functions.
