Full three-act play

This text is a classic in upper-level
Spanish classes. The engaging
drama takes place at an institution
for the blind. The atmosphere of
carefree optimism is shattered by the
arrival of Ignacio, a rebellious and
discontented youth.
Argentina in the 1950s is the setting for
the secrets, speculations, and suspense
that will keep students reading until
the last page as they learn about Camilo
Canegato and his acquaintances at
La Madrileña.
In one of the best productions of
contemporary Spanish drama, Casona
combines fantasy and realism by having
Death appear in daily life.
The dramatic struggle among the
students at the institution as they deal
with this new influence challenges the
reader to think about fundamental
values of human nature.

Tutor Services
Pearson
Tutor Services
Effective and Convenient Online Tutoring
About the Tutors
Pearson Tutor Services employs only
experienced tutors—most have a
Master’s degree or Ph.D. as well
as five to ten years of teaching
experience. Tutors undergo
intensive training, and they must
pass stringent certification exams
and adhere to national and state
academic standards and curricula.
Unlike tutoring exchanges, Pearson
tutors are employees.
Students and parents often wish they had more support at home. Pearson
Tutor Services is dedicated to providing out-of-classroom help. Highly skilled
tutors provide online, one-to-one support for the Pearson curriculum you’re
teaching. It’s like having an extra teacher a click away.
With Pearson Tutor Services
• Students interact directly with an online tutor for instant help with
assignments, projects, and quiz review. In addition to stepped-out
problem-solving assistance, tutors have use of simulations, videos,
and animations to help convey concepts.
• Students can take tutoring sessions anytime. Tutoring sessions are
recorded so students can replay explanations as often as needed.
• Students can use their home-based computer to access the online tutors.
• Unused tutoring minutes are allocated to future tutoring sessions.
