Check Endorsement Stamp
This is an example of the check endorsement stamp Region
205 uses upon receipt of all checks. Having several stamps
available at Registration is very useful as we immediately
endorse the registration checks. We purchased them at
Office Depot at a cost of approximately $35 each. I provided
a link to their website with a similar stamp. With a Region
with approximately 1,400 players, they save a lot of time
and help ensure that the funds can only be deposited to our
Region's account.

AYSO SOCCER REGISTRATION
WHAT IS AYSO?
The American Youth Soccer Organization
(AYSO) is a national, non-profit volunteer
organization that provides soccer
programs to youth worldwide. Local
AYSO Region 969 serves approximately
650 players every year, ranging from ages
4 to 18, in the Del City, Midwest City,
and Tinker Air Force Base community.
™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™
AYSO follows SIX PHILOSOPHIES that
separate us from all other youth sports.
Everyone Plays
Our goal is for kids to play soccer. We
mandate that every player on every team must
play at least half of every game.
Balanced Teams
We set up teams as evenly balanced as possible—
it is more fun when teams of equal ability play.
Positive Coaching
The way to make winning kids is by building
them up—not knocking them down. We train
and encourage our coaches to make the extra
effort to understand and offer positive help to our
players, rather than negative criticism.

Good Sportsmanship
We desire to create a positive environment

Player Development
Registration ends Aug 23. Any players
wanting to play after the Aug 23 deadline will
be placed on a waiting list.
Call 741-AYSO, Ext 2, for waiting list info.
We believe that all players should be able to
develop their soccer skills and knowledge
to the best of their abilities, both individually
and as members of a team, in order to
maximize their enjoyment of the game.

WHY IS AYSO THE LEADER IN YOUTH SOCCER?
IT’S OUR 6 PHILOSOPHIES!
OUR TOTAL FOCUS IS ON THE KIDS. As parents and friends
volunteering to organize and operate this AYSO organization, every goal
and decision points to keeping our kids safe, teaching the wonderful game
of soccer, and, most importantly, making certain that they are having fun!
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. We believe that all players should be able to
develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities,
both individually and as members of a team, in order to maximize their
enjoyment of the game.
We Don't "Stack" Teams. We start each season by setting up new
BALANCED TEAMS as evenly as possible. When some players have
more developed skills than others, those with less experience can learn
from those with more. It's more fun when teams are of equal ability! (Not
only soccer skills are learned...many learn leadership, role modeling, and
social skills, too. This builds self-esteem and self-confidence in every
player!)
What does AYSO Have To
Offer My Child?
* FUN FOR EVERYONE
* SAFE FUN ENVIRONMENT
*COMPLETE UNIFORMS
(JERSEY, SHORTS AND SOCKS)
* TROPHYS FOR ALL PLAYERS
* SOCCER NOW MAGAZINE
* NO TEAM TRYOUTS FOR ANY AGE
* PLAYER INSURANCE
* VIP PROGEAM
(FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES)
* KID ZONE
Every child that wants to play soccer, plays on our team...thus, our "EVERYONE PLAYS" philosophy. Every player on
every team will play at least half of every game.
We promote GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP on and off the soccer field. AYSO has created a positive environment based upon
mutual respect, rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude. Since our program is non-competitive, every player is considered a
WINNER!!
Our soccer REGISTRATION IS OPEN TO EVERY CHILD. We don't require anyone to "try-out" for team play. Interest
and enthusiasm are the only requirements for playing on our team!
We provide POSITIVE COACHING for our players. We train and encourage our coaches to make the extra effort to
understand and offer positive help to our players, rather than use negative criticism, thus building a positive team spirit.
