Map to HOF - JapanBall

To JapanBall Hall of Fame (Café Roje)
Walking: Use all three pages for walking from the train. You have a map, written
directions, and the restaurant business card with small map. Show that last page to
anyone if you get lost in the area. They’ll point you in the right direction.
Taxi: First hand the driver the third page with the business card map on it. Let him
ponder it a moment. Then hand him the first page with the big map, which will give him
a more broad view. It will be a modest cab ride from anywhere in central Tokyo.

The Purple Path
The purple line on this map goes from JR Ochanomizu Station at the bottom of the
map to the JapanBall Hall of Fame at the top. This is an eight-minute walk.
JR Ochanomizu Station (use Hirijibashi Exit)
This is the JR Railway Station for both the Chuo Line (orange) and the Sobu Line
(yellow). BE CERTAIN TO LEAVE THE STATION THROUGH THE HIRIJIBASHI
EXIT. If you fail to leave through the correct exit this map will fail to make sense.
Upon exiting the station take a left onto the sidewalk. In a few feet make another
left going over the bridge that spans the railroad tracks and the Kanda River.
Proceed along the sidewalk until you come to your first stoplight.
First Stoplight
After crossing the bridge and as you approach your first stoplight stay on the
sidewalk and, rather than cross the street, make a left on the sidewalk and
continue walking. You are now walking along Hongo-dori, a main street. Continue
on the sidewalk until you come to your second stoplight.
Second Stoplight
Cross the street, Hongo-dori, at the next stoplight you come to. As you prepare to
cross note the large building of the Tokyo Garden Palace Hotel across the street
to the left. After crossing the street walk on the sidewalk on the right of the hotel
down the one-way street. Pay very close attention crossing streets in Japan
always being aware that cars may come from unexpected directions.
Third Stoplight
Cross the street, Kuramaebashi-dori, at the next stoplight you come to. After
crossing make a slight jog to the right on the sidewalk to go around the corner of a
building and continue on the sidewalk down a small street. You will quickly come
to a smaller street on your left with some soft drink machines at its corner. Cross
the mouth of that street and get back on the sidewalk on the other side. The HOF
is down two or so doors on the left!
JapanBall Hall of Fame
The JapanBall Hall of Fame is in a small building on the left side of the street.
There is usually a table out front showing some plastic display food. There are two
entrance doors, one on each side of the display table. Take your pick. The one to
your left goes to the counter seating, the one on the right goes to a table seating.
