About PCSO Enabling Law: Republic Act No.1169, as amended Mandate: The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) is the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character. Mission: To generate funds for health programs and charities of national character through charity sweepstakes races, lotteries, and other similar PCSO Branch Offices •To an initial 25 when it assumed office in 2010, the present PCSO Board has added 17 more branches since 2012. • Marinduque branch will be opened in Nov 2014. •There will be 42 branches by Nov 2014. Zamboanga del Norte PCSO Products Allocation of Net Receipts 55% : Prize Fund - for the payment of prizes 30%: Charity Fund - for charity and social programs 15%: Operating Fund - for operating expenses and capital expenditures AGENCY SERVICES PCSO Core Services Individual Medical Assistance Program (IMAP) Requests for: Hospitalization Dialysis Medicines Chemotherapy Drugs Laboratory/Diagnostic Procedures Wheelchair, Hearing Aid, Implant/Prosthesis Requirements: request letter , original/CTC medical abstract, prescription of medicines, indigency certificate, price quotations, hospital billing statement, etc. PCSO Core Services Individual Medical Assistance Program (IMAP) • Outpatient consultation • Medicine donation • Ambulance conduction of indigent patients • Assistance for victims of calamities and national emergencies • Patient assistance through Endowment Funds (EFs with hospitals) PCSO Core Services Institutional Financial Assistance Program (IFAP) • Regular Beneficiaries (Endowment Fund, Inst.
