The new 4P’s allow you to move through your presentation without being tied you your computer or laptop! Available @ Both Maner and AEC Libraries How to Use: 1. Load or Upload your Power Point Presentation as usual: (From either your Hard Drive or USB Drive.) 2. Take the 4P remote and remove the USB Wireless card from the back of the unit. 3. Attach USB Wireless Card to the Desktop or Laptop computer in an open USB Port. 4. Wait for computer to recognize the new hardware! 5. Practice with your new toy! 6. Have a great presentation/class!!! (Yes, Sorry folks! Due to the limited supply you will have to RESERVE these on a class by bases just like all other media equipment.) DATABASES The Libraries are currently Conducting 3 trials for new databases for the new fiscal year. The library has a free trial of CQ Global Researcher UNTIL MARCH 25th 2008. Institute of Museum and Library Services Chooses CJC Libraries! Treasured objects and artifacts held by the Cisco Junior College Maner Library will be preserved for future generations with help from the IMLS Connecting to Collections Bookshelf, a core set of conservation books, DVDs, and online resources donated by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the primary source of federal funding of the nation’s museums and libraries. IMLS and its cooperator, the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH), has awarded one of the total of 2,000 free sets of the IMLS Bookshelf to the CJC Libraries.
