2012 ISTANBUL - TURKEY
Dear colleagues,
The European Society of Preventive, Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine (ESAAM) welcomes
you to the 3rd European Congress on Preventative, Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine
(ECOPRAM) at the Harbiye Military Museum in Istanbul, May 29-31, 2012.
ESAAM is a medical and scientific interdisciplinary umbrella organization of scientific societies in the
fields of Preventive, Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine. Its main objective is the dissemination of
knowledge about preventive and regenerative medicine throughout Europe. ECOPRAM is the
benchmark of the ESAAM congresses and is supported by ZITA Congress as contracted
professional congress organizer.
The 3rd ECOPRAM will be attended by a wide range of physicians and medical professionals all
keen to learn the latest researches, who like you, share ideas and discover the latest technologies in
this field from medical experts. A number of scientific and clinical organizations, support this event.
The scientific programme of the 3rd ECOPRAM is very attractive for all of you and scientifically
superb. This comprehensive conference programme will ensure the coverage of all components of
preventive medicine, regenerative medicine and anti-aging medicine and will include state-of-the-art
plenary lectures by international experts as well as selected lectures and sessions on obesity and
diet, prevention of skin aging, aging diagnostics, male aging, female aging, facial aging,
cardiovascular aging, anti-aging strategies, aging therapy, stem cells and surgical procedures.
Workshop by the member and cooperating societies on general medicine and hormones,
neurodegeneration and treatment, aging research, LASER procedures and combined treatments in
anti-aging medicine, aging of the musculosceletal system, genetics and nutrigenomics in aging,
genomic revolution, plastic surgery in the third age, physics and biochemicals and plasic surgery as
well as industry-conducted workshops, scientific posters and an industrial exhibition complement
the event. The 3rd ECOPRAM is a significant milestone for the European medical and healthcare
community. Since its inauguration in 2004, ESAAM has encouraged the new clinical specialties of
preventive and regenerative medicine and anti-aging science and the continuous education of
physicians on these medical disciplines.
We thank the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Turism for its hospitality and also the Aesthetic and AntiAging Medicine Turkey (A3MST) and its president, Prof. Çimen Karasu, and ZITA Congress for the
local organization of the 3rd ECOPRAM. We also thank the International Confederation for Plastic,
Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), the International Hormone Society (IHS) and the
European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry for the close cooperation. At last, we are indebted to our

GENERAL INFORMATION
VENUE
The “ECOPRAM 2012- 3rd European Congress on Preventive, Regenerative and Anti-aging Medicine”,
will take place at the Harbiye Military Museum, Istanbul, Turkey, on the 29-31st of May 2012.
LANGUAGE
English will be the official language of the Congress. There will be simultaneous translation in Turkish in the
plenary room.
AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT
Audiovisual Equipment of the latest technology will be used in all Meeting Halls.

EXHIBITION
In the framework of the Congress, an exhibition will take place in a specially formed area.
SPEAKERS' PREVIEW AREA
Speakers' Pre View Area will be located close to the secretariat. All Power Point files must be delivered to
the Speakers' Pre View Area at least one hour before the session starts. Data files must be on CDROM or
USB stick and cannot be delivered in the session rooms in order to avoid delay and projection problems.
Opening hours of the Speakers' Pre View Area are the same as Secretariat's.
CME CREDITS (ECMEC)
The “ECOPRAM 2012 - 3rd European Congress on Preventive, Regenerative and Anti-aging
Medicine” is granted 15 ECME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), which is an institution of the Union of European
Medical Specialists (UEMS).
NAME BADGES
You may receive your personal name badge at the Congress Secretariat. For security reasons, delegates,
accompanying persons and exhibitors must wear their name badges throughout the whole Congress and
at all social events.
CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE
At the end of the Congress, a certificate of attendance with the CME points will be delivered to all
participants.
INSURANCE
Registration fees do not include insurance of participants regarding cancellation, accidents, theft or
property loss. Participants should arrange for their own insurance.
