OUR HISTORY
LaserLyte is the shooting and hunting division of P&L Industries, Incorporated. Larry Moore, owner and president, has been
involved with the shooting and hunting industry for more than thirty years.
Moore started out with a book publishing company specializing in survival tactics and weapons. Moore later created and
published several magazines, including S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons and Tactics), Turbo and Arizona Hunter and Angler.
In 1987, Moore founded a gun accessories business that grew to be Tac Star Industries, Incorporated. With Tac Star, Moore
sold gun accessories and designed new products including the first “laser bore sighter” on the market. In 1996, Moore merged
with Lyte Optronics to form LaserLyte.
After selling the gun accessories division in 1997, Moore purchased LaserLyte back in 2001. From then on, he has worked
diligently to refine his previous work and develop new and innovative shooting products.
In 2002 Larry’s son, Aaron Moore, joined his father in business full time as Vice President and Director of Operations after
several years of living overseas and completing college degrees in business, engineering and international relations. Aaron’s
arrival allowed Larry to shift 100% of his focus to designing cutting-edge laser products for the shooting industry. “It is a great
alignment of assets for my father and I, we put our ideas together, he designs them and then I present them to market,”
says Aaron.
Both Larry and Aaron have a great passion for the outdoors that is infused into their family life. “My Dad and I hunt as much as
possible,” says Aaron, “It’s a great chance to spend some time together as well as come up with new ideas for LaserLyte
to help hunters and shooters in their sport.”

Meet the brightest and most visible laser we’ve
ever created. The Kryptonyte Laser Bore Sighting
System uses a green laser that is 100 times more
visible to the human eye than traditional red
lasers. This daylight-visible 532-nanometer green
laser creates a dot that can be seen up to 100
yards with the naked eye, meaning you can sightin anywhere from 10 yards to 100 yards away.
The Kryptonyte LBS System fits any handgun*,
rifle or carbine from .22 to .50 caliber and .51 to
.75 caliber as well as 12 to 20 gauge shotguns.

The universal Gun/Scope Leveler ensures a level performance
every time you use your gun, because now you can level your gun
before you ever level your cross hairs. Simply slide the leveler
onto any Weaver or Picatinny base rail system, put the bubble
in the middle of the line—and now your gun is level. Secure your
firearm and then take the level off. Proceed to mount your scope
and level it. Bore sight in and you’re done.

DEFENSIVE TRAINING WITH ROB PINCUS
Learn how to improve your defensive shooting skills with the LaserLyte Laser Trainer and one of the world’s premier instructors.
PRESENTATION FROM THE READY.
The Ready Position is an important staging position for the firearm. In the Ready Position, you
should be able to search an area, assess a situation and perform just about any plausible weapons
manipulation (reloading, clearing a malfunction, etc) efficiently.
A preferred Ready Position, such as the High Compressed Ready, will keep the firearm close to your
body to increase retention, reduce fatigue and allow you to respond to threats in any direction from
your body without swinging the firearm.
EXTENSION AND PRESS.
Orient yourself towards your target and rapidly extend your firearm into the shooting
position, pressing a shot just as your firearm settles into the shooting position
(reaches full extension in and parallel with your line of sight).
It is possible that your firearm will obscure the laser dot at the very end of this motion. Do
not get into the habit of searching for the laser when you are at extension. At this point,
your focus should be on the threat or on your sights, depending on the need for precision.
EVALUATION
NOTES
After your shot, you should be looking for two things:
1. Does the laser dot appear in the target area that
you have designated?
Remember that with many firearm designs, you will need to
cycle the action of the firearm between each shot. Be sure
to do this in a way that is consistent with your reloading and
malfunction clearing techniques. To learn more defensive
and marksmanship shooting techniques, visit icetraining.us.
2. Does the laser dot appear as a line (extreme movement
during trigger press) or as a dot?
If your dot is not appearing consistently inside of your target
area, go back to the Presentation from Ready drill and refine
your extension or take more time to settle the gun before
your first shot.
Once you have become smooth and you start moving faster, it
can be helpful to have a training partner watch the motion of
the laser dot while you are extending.
SAFETY
When training, always be sure to clear your firearm of all ammunition and separate any ammunition from your LASER TRAINER
practice area. You should always train with your pistol oriented in a safe direction as an additional safety measure. When working
with a training partner or partners, all participants should check all firearms together before beginning your training session.
