CLASS : I
Winter break is approaching. To keep the children engaged fruitfully, you are kindly
requested to make them do the following assignments:
1. Prepare flash cards on any one topic: clothes, food, houses.
{you can make up to 5 flash cards, post card size.}
2. Visit a shopping mall/ market nearby. Spend rs. 50 to buy 5 items. Make a list of the
items purchased and paste their wrappers/pictures.
3. Read any storybook. Learn the name of the book, author and your favourite
character. Bring the book for show-and-tell to school after the holidays.
4. Watch a sci-fi movie. Enjoy this experience and learn about the plot and
characters.(suggested: Planes, Cars, Transformers)
5. Orally learn 3-5 things/ways in which you can make contribution towards swacch
bharat abhiyan. Mention what measures were taken at school as well.
We will be waiting you to welcome back on 16th January 2016 happy and healthy.
