CAMP VICK 11165 Sandbank Rd. · Freedom, NY 14065 2016 FEARLESS FAITH Introducing people to Jesus and equipping them to grow spiritually and minister to their world. CAMP VICK VICK AND PATHFINDER CAMP AND CONFERENCE MINISTRIES AMP VIC Dear Friend, We live in a world of fast paced changes and uncertainty. People have very real fears about world, national and personal events happening all around them. Camping ministry grounds people in Christ. It gives them a place of safety and a place to grow in their faith. In a world of virtual connections, camping ministry helps children, youth and adults make genuine face to face connections with others and with God. This year we are looking at building a FEARLESS FAITH. We will learn how to stand in times of trouble. We will explore the scriptures and see how God guards our hearts in peace, even in the midst of trouble. We will be looking at and experiencing ways that God places us in a community of others to be able to grow in our faith and be strengthened by the body of Christ around us. Specifically we will focus on having the Courage to Show Up (Genesis 12:1-8), the Courage to Trust (Ruth), the Courage to Forgive (Genesis 45:1-15), the Courage to Stand (Daniel 3), the Courage to Do Justice (Esther 4), the Courage to Change (Acts 10), and the Courage to Connect (Matthew 28). In a world where fears abound, we need to find ways to be bold and be strengthened to not just know Jesus, but to be people who follow Christ in all areas of our lives. I would like you to consider sending children, youth and adults to camp as a participant. I would ask you to prayerfully consider volunteering as a ministry partner with us in one of our programs. I would also ask that you consider this ministry in your mission’s giving for your church, or personally as a financial partner. (Everyone who attends camp is subsidized by the giving of faithful partners.) This summer will be amazing as we introduce people to Christ, equip them to grow spiritually and equip them to minister to their world. I would also love the opportunity to come to meet with you, your church or a group to discuss face to face the ministry we are able to partner in together. I treasure our joint ministry as we partner together in ministry. Your partner in ministry, John Buskey Please like us on Facebook at Vick and Pathfinder Camp and Conference Ministries Inc. The purpose of VP Ministries is to provide a safe environment in which to bring people of all ages into a vital, living relationship with Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. 2016 CAMP VICK Special Events ~ Weekend Retreats ~ Family Camping Open May 15- Sept. 5.
