Bill’s Corner: Info for The North Texas Camaro Club
The 2008 dues will be reduced to $20 for the year, we are now collecting them for 2008.
All checks MUST BE MADE OUT TO BOB SENICH
( DO NOT MAKE THE CHECKS OUT TO NTC OR NORTH TEXAS CAMAROS ).
Mail the checks to Roger Jackson % NTC at 2420 Vista Glen Ln. Carrollton, Texas 75007
Deadline is 3/1/2008.
New Years Day at the Dairyette brought out the die hard show goers. Seen at the Dairyette
were, Marc & Ann Tuton, Brian & Susan Brown, Tom Potts, and Taz ( Greg Pomeroy ).
Brian Brown made the "F" Body club monthly meeting with input from the North Texas
Camaros. NTC will try to co-ordinate more events with "F" Body in 2008.
Bill Roy attended the Hogs and Hot Rods show and heard the TAZ come by as he
broke the "unbreakable". See the Taz machine at the Ft. Worth Rod and Custom Show.
The Ft. Worth indoor Rod and Custom Show will be Feb 29 - March 2. We have 8 spaces
for the club display. I have these names so far: Alan Pound, Cris Gross, Don Caver,
Jerry Webber, Johnny Hazel, Tad Hall, Jim Shaw, and Chris Recker - should be good.
TAZ and Huff will use the individual entries to show non-first gen Camaros in the area just in front of the
club entries, so we're all together in the showroom. A beer will be had and a minute
of silence will be held for the Pomeride and the King Rat missing cars at the Ft. Worth Show.
Mad Dog Dodson and Tommy Simmons ( NTC Members ) will show in Mad Dog's spaces.
There will be the NTC annual kickoff luncheon Saturday March 1st, in conjuction with the
Ft. Worth Rod and Custom Show. We will review 2007, lay plans and ask for volunteers for
the 2008 events at this kick off. Hopefully, we can make 2008 bigger and better than 2007. The
location is the same one we have used for the past 4 years, Rail Head B-B-Q on Montgomery
just south of I-30 at the Montgomery Street Exit in Ft. Worth. Come out and then make the
Ft. Worth Rod and Custom car show, it is just up the street. I would like to nail down some
April & May NTC events : Cruise, Picnic? - so be thinking about volunteering as a co-ordinator for these or
other events we discuss at the kick off.
Tom Potts polled the members at the 12/15 B-B-Q about a road trip destinations for 2008.
There were 3 great ideas for the road trip. As more gets finalized, we will begin to plan
for the 2008 NTC Road Trip - stay tuned.
Let's Roll On in 2008.
I AM AGAIN LOOKING FOR FEATURE CARS FOR THE NEWSLETTER, ANYONE
THAT WANTS TO BE FEATURED, CONTACT BILL ROY.
See the NTC web site "EVENTS' TAB or WWW.HOTRODHAPPENINGS.COM
and the NTC newsletter for a listing of shows, cruises and other events.
