at the Glynhill Hotel
There is a choice of Suites for
your own Wedding Reception
requirements:
THE BARONY
BANQUETING SUITE
has accommodation for approximately up
to 400 guests. Comfortable and spacious
with every facility for the larger Wedding
Reception. The Barony Suite may be
sub-divided into the Barony One Suite
and the Barony Two Suite.
THE BARONY ONE SUITE
is suitable for approximately 50/60 up to
170 guests, spacious dance floor, own
pre-reception lounge, guest facilities and
own entrance.
THE BARONY TWO SUITE
has accommodation for approximately 80
up to 220 guests, spacious dance floor,
own pre-reception lounge, guest facilities
and own entrance.
THE GLYN & ALCOVE
adjoining the Le Gourmet Restaurant are
ideal for smaller Wedding Receptions
of approximately 70 guests. The hotel
cocktail bar or private lounge are used for
pre-reception drinks.
SPECIAL
ACCOMMODATION RATES
We offer special reduced rates for guests
attending a Dinner Dance or Wedding
Reception at the Glynhill Hotel (subject
to availability). Relax and stay over-night
after the Wedding without the worries
of driving home. For reservations please
contact the Hotel Reception on Telephone:
0141-886 5555.
BOOKING PROCEDURES
A letter of confirmation and a £500
deposit is required within 7 days of
a provisional reservation. 90% of the
estimated Wedding account is payable 14
days prior to the reception. Minimum
number for the meal on Fridays and
Saturdays is 80-100 guests in Barony 1,
100-120 guests in Barony 2, and Barony
Whole Suite is 180-300. Cancellation:
If you unfortunately have to cancel
your booking the Hotel will retain the
confirmation deposit of £500. There will
be a further cancellation charge of 50%
of the estimated account if the Hotel
is unable to re-let the accommodation.
However the Hotel will try to minimise
loss by re-letting the accommodation and
may be able to waive the cancellation
charges.
Civil ceremony within the Hotel can
be arranged at an additional cost from
£300 room hire. Same sex commitment
ceremonies welcomed.
The brochure can be altered at the discretion
of the management. The management
reserve the right to amend the programme
without prior notice being given.
PACKAGES
The packages may be altered to include
additional services and facilities, but not
subtracted from the minimum price
applicable for weekend events.
Please also enquire about additional
facilities for which we will be pleased to
quote costs, which may further enhance
your day such as:
• Pre-wedding get togethers and overnight
packages available
• Recommendations on additional
decorations both for table top and
banqueting suites.
• Provision of crystal glassware for small
wedding parties in the Mackintosh and
Moray suites and Le Gourmet restaurant.
Wedding breakfasts are also available.
