Welcome, We are Paul, Judy and Monique
Paul
(by Judy)
Paul fills the room with smiles and laughter! He
has a big heart and is kind and gentle.
Judy
Judy is tender hearted and loves the outdoors. Her
love for animals and the outdoors is contagious.
Paul teaching Monique how to play the French horn
Paul is a full-time dad. During the day he enjoys
volunteering in the school garden. He loves to inspire
the kids to plant, taste, eat and find
a connection with the garden. In
the evenings he pursues his love of
music as a freelance French horn
player. Music and dance follow Paul
everywhere, our new child will always
be surrounded by harmony. He looks
forward to introducing our new baby
to drums, shakers and the xylophone
and having a percussionist to add to
our family band.

She can’t wait to teach our new child about the
wonders of nature. This gentle guidance and love
transfers itself into the family as she
cares for all of us while supporting
our family as an engineer. Judy
gives everything her all, whether
it's being the best mother possible,
gardening or dancing. She looks
forward to exploring and enjoying
the wondrous beauty in our world
with Monique and our new baby.
Monique adores her Mama and I
know our next child will too!
W
e look forward to getting to know you.
We have so much respect and admiration for your
generosity and courage as you consider traveling on
this journey to find a loving family for your child. Our
journey into open adoption began when Monique
entered our family. Our approach to parenting is to
unconditionally love our children, with Paul being
a full-time dad. To whatever extent you are
comfortable, we would love to incorporate you into
our family.

Our promise to you is to love your child unconditionally, with all our hearts. In our family your child will
always know your love. Our parenting style is to guide our children through life, teach them kindness, respect,
and right from wrong and allow them to explore the world as they grow up happy and confident. We believe
our children should always know their full adoption story. We welcome a relationship with you to the extent
that you feel most comfortable. We look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you better.

Our Dance of Love and Life
Where we sleep and play…
We met dancing on December
20th 2002.
It was love at first sight. As
we became dance partners,
our partnership turned into
a partnership of life. We
were married in a candlelight
Christmas wedding exactly
one year after we met, and
have been dancing through
love and life ever since.
Santa Rosa (northern California) is the place we call home.
We are blessed with a mild climate that allows us to
spend a lot of time outdoors doing our favorite things
like hiking, kayaking, gardening, and running trails in
the many nearby state and county parks. We have a
warm and inviting home with a big backyard and a
kitchen garden. In addition to an extensive vegetable
garden, we have a variety of fruit trees (apple, pear,
plum, grape, pomegranate, mulberry, fig, cherry,
apricot) and berries that Monique loves to snack on as
she runs through the garden with her cousins and friends.
What we don’t eat ourselves, we love to share with our friends
and family. We also have hens that
provide us with fresh eggs, Nigerian dwarf goats
that give us an abundance of milk and chevre, and an over
enthusiastic loving Australian
shepherd dog, Tasman.

Adoption is close to our hearts
Open adoption is a beautiful
way to create a family.
Paul has a twin sister
who is a birthmother. At
Thanksgiving in 2006, our
daughter Monique entered
our lives through open
adoption. “Thanksgiving”
held a new meaning for us.
We are forever grateful to
her birthparents.
We love to dance!
We are very excited about
expanding our family by welcoming
another child. We are blessed with
a large family spread over the west
coast. Our family here in Santa Rosa
as well as in southern California and
Washington are ready!
Monique

Monique brings so much joy, laughter and love
into our lives with her curiosity for life, gentle
nature and big heart. We love being parents
and feel so blessed to have Monique in
our lives. She has an endless supply
of laughter and giggles and delights
in surprising you with gifts of her
latest artwork. She loves to take care
of people and animals, excited to
wrap up your latest boo boo in an
abundance of bandages. Monique can’t
wait to have a baby brother or sister to
play with and look after.
