The Espace Val d’Arly (120 km, 98 pistes, 53
ski lifts): Praz sur Arly, Flumet, Notre Dame
de Bellecombe, Crest-Voland-Cohennoz.
The Espace Diamant (192 km, 154 pistes, 84
ski lifts): Praz sur Arly, Flumet, Notre Dame

n CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Access to the cross-country ski area in Praz
sur Arly is free. 5 km starting at the foot of
the slopes towards the hamlet of Cassioz.
Marked out for skating and classic styles
so that everyone can enjoy cross-country
skiing. A beginners’ area has been created.
These rates do not include insurance and the deposit. Deposit: 2e per hands-free card. Beginners’ skipass: from 14,40e for 4 hours on the easy
ski lifts! ! Famille + : The family package: 6 day formula - simple and economical.

CARRIAGE
Leaving from the Church Square, Gilles and Michel
will be happy to take you for a ride and show you
the hamlets around the village accompanied by the
sound of jingling sleigh bells.

The children’s snow garden at the foot of the
slopes is one of the largest in the Pays du MontBlanc. The Piou-Piou Club offers lots of different
games in a fun and cheerful enclosed area. Your
children are supervised by ESF instructors who
will teach them the basics of skiing in safety.

organized either outside or in the newly equipped yurt.

The Val d’Arly is an exceptional natural site for this
leisure activity, accessible to all. Through forests and
snowy pastures, discover the mountain landscapes
and winter wildlife. Praz sur Arly offers two marked
trails for snowshoeing and access is free. Half-day
or full-day themed group outings are available with
professional mountain guides. Loan of equipment

the magnificent spruce forests to the large Alpine pastures, there are many walking trails in Praz,
not forgetting the other legendary mountain ranges nearby that offer all the Alpine activities.

n Hiking stars
This summer activity has pride of place in the
Pays du Mont-Blanc with over 300 km of marked
trails. 15 marked trails start in Praz sur Arly. We
recommend the “Belvédère du Mont-Blanc” map
with a topography guide of 56 walks, on sale at
the Tourist Office.
Hiking stars reward children at the end of
a hike. On presentation of a photo of the
young hiker (on a camera, smartphone...)
on one of the three summits concerned, a
diploma is awarded and a medal in the form
of an edelweiss. Bronze, silver or gold stars,
depending on the difficulty. The three hikes are
all less than 2 hours.
Grand hiking tour of the Pays du Mont-Blanc
160 km of marked trails, “The Tour of the Pays
du Mont-Blanc”. Route accessible to all hikers.
Go off for the day, half-day or for several days
with a professional and passionate mountain
guide. Discover the fauna and flora and
breathtaking panoramas (Mont Blanc, Aravis
and Beaufortain...). The guides of the Megève
Mountain Guides’ Office and Altitude Nature
offer a daily programme available at the Tourist
Office.

n The Smugglers’ Trail
Based on the history of smugglers in the
region, with a comic strip as a guidebook,
this hiking idea sets children off on a
treasure hunt in the mountains. Amusing
panels reveal a secret code to solve a puzzle,
all in less than an hour-and-a-half’s walk.

Reach the summits of Praz sur Arly in only a
