Our Pews are; “SOLID” ROSTRUM FURNITURE Some Panel Elements SOLID Core A-2 7 Layer Plywood Gregory S Lambrecht OWNER We will CONVERT your Existing Pews to our HIDDEN COMPRESSION SLEEVE Chicago Expansion Bolt Torque Down Anchoring System At NO CHARGE ATTENTION: PASTOR REGARDING: QUALITY. Specifically - our Anchor System. Hidden Compression Sleeve - Chicago Expansion Bolt - Torque Down Anchoring System. Dearest Pastor, I’m taking time to describe our anchor system myself because I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart and soul, that we use only the HIGHEST quality - most reliable, Materials and Procedures to produce our products. In this presentation book - we explain how we attain and maintain quality. Under TAB 3 we explain our ANCHORING procedure. Most companies use only 2 bolts per pew, 1 on each end. Many use a “pinch bolt” system. We use 4 bolts per pew, 2 per end. Anchoring a CHURCH PEW is much different than other construction anchor systems such as using an expanding Rawl tm type bolt. Rawl type bolts are designed for their shear strength and are not necessarily useful when “pull out” resistance is required. The anchor bolt we use is a custom made (patented CEB) ¼” x 20 thread 4” bolt, hardened to our requirements. The floor is drilled 1-¼” deep, then the bolt inserted and a two part lead caulking device is placed into the hole - around the bolt. Once inserted, we use a caulking tool and 3 lb. hammer to permanently caulk (swedge) the lead around the bolt - into the floor. Once these are in the floor, they can not be pulled out or unscrewed. They become a permanent part of the floor. If they ever need to be removed, they must be broken off. The pull out resistance exceeds 2,500 lbs psi. Each pew is anchored with 4 of these devices. After the bolts are inserted into the floor, the pew is placed on top of them. We then insert a washer and nut and torque the nut down. Finally a cover plate is placed over the anchor hole. We’ve developed this system to ELIMINATE all anchoring failures. We have installed 5,763 Churches, 2,790,000 linear feet of pews without a single pull out or anchor failure. I want to end by reiterating our commitment to use only the finest materials and procedures to manufacture and install our products. Our anchor system is designed at a factor of 2.5 to exceed it’s structural requirement. If there was a better, or more dependable way to anchor our pews, we would be using it. The reason we use such a reliable anchor system is we warrant our work - and we don’t want to have to return to any jobsite because any facet of our product fails. If you have any questions - please feel free to call me directly.
