Today’s Ride
Today we have a special treat for you.
We are splitting up todays ride in 3 parts.
First Mike Lin our Group Leader will be
leading us to Newcomb's Ranch where
we will be having lunch and hanging out in
the beautiful mountains.
Then for those who wish to continue on
Rick will take over the lead and we will
continue our ride up Angeles Crest for
another 33 miles of scenic mountain
roads before reaching our 2nd
destination in Wrightwood where we
will take a little break and enjoy some
beverages.
The 3rd leg of the ride for those iron
butt, hard core, members who are
tough enough to continue on will be
going to Victorville Harley-Davidson
where we will get a jump on our holiday shopping! Lol
Which ever part of todays ride you
take, or all 3 parts, this day will surely
be a fun one!
Last Month’s Rides
Our first ride of the month was to Carpenteria for their Avocado Festival. This
ride had a big turn out. There was live bands
and tons of food. Most of us had pizza and a
few had some bbq ribs. There were lots of
venders with arts and crafts to look at. As
always this was one of my favorite routs to
the Santa Barbara area.
Our second ride was our overnight trip to
Pismo Beach. What a fun trip this was!
Great ride up and great ride home. Everyone that evening had a blast at a steakhouse
called AJ Spurs. Nothing gets better than
friends getting together and having a fun time
together enjoying a meal together. Rides like
this has a lot of bonding going on. We get to
know one another and form a close friendship! This trip was one to remember. On the
way home we decided to go farther north to
Morro Bay and see the sights. This was a
great idea because everyone enjoyed themselves at this tourist town. This is a must do
again for next year.
Our third ride was after our general meeting to the Deer Lodge in Ojai. We had lunch
and just sat around talking and looking at all
Deer Lodge Crystal Lake the bikes that where there. After we had lunch
and walked around some of us went back hone
and the rest of us continued up the highway 33
to Lockwood Valley and then through the Antelope Valley on the way home. Great ride.
Our fourth ride Bob took us though the San
Gabriel Mountains to a place called Crystal Lake.
This is a beautiful area that has camping and 4
wheeling. On the way up there we stopped at a
few places where the views were out of this
world. Bob found this place last year and this is
our second run there. Can’t wait to do it again.
