The Four Seasons Does it get any better than this? Our province experiences four distinct seasons. Autumn offers awe-inspiring red and gold colours with fall-foliage tours, the brilliant reds of the peat bogs on the Acadian Peninsula, and lively festivals and eclectic farmers’ markets. Let it snow! See glistening white landscapes as you snowmobile, ice skate, snowshoe, ice-fish or crosscountry and downhill ski. Experience snowboarding, festivals, enjoy sleigh rides, hot chocolate and cosy inns. Spring then brings the promise of warmth and renewal. Sap running, sugaring off, fiddleheading, the first sighting of a robin and thoughts of lazy, hazy days of summer come to mind. Close your eyes and listen to the waves along the shore, hear children squealing as they see a whale, enjoy lobster boils, picnics, gardens, music, dancing, beachcombing and festivals. We are truly blessed in our province to have four seasons and the wonderful things associated with each cyclical change.
