Morven Park's Equestrian Center is located one mile North of the town of Leesburg off Route 15 on
740 (Tutt Lane). Turn onto Route 740 (Tutt Lane), go 1/2 mile - entrance on left.
Route
From the Washington Beltway (I-495)
- Take the Dulles Toll road (Rt 267) west
- At exit 9, Rt 28 (Sully Rd) turn right and go north to Rt 7.
- Exit west to Leesburg on Rt 7
- Take the Leesburg By-Pass (Rt 15.)
- Go North on Rt 15 By-Pass to just beyond the turnback to Business 15.
- Turn left on Tutt Lane (Rt 740)
- Continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.
Option from I-495
-Take the Dulles Greenway from the Dulles Toll Road (direct)
- To Rt 15 By-Pass north at Leesburg.
- Go north on By-Pass and go North on Rt 15
- By-Pass to just beyond the turnback to Business 15.
- Turn left on Tutt Lane (Rt 740)
- Continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.
From Points West
- Take Rt 7 east to the Leesburg By-Pass (Rt 15) north or take I-66 east or Rt 50 east to Rt 15 north.
- At Leesburg take By-Pass north and go North on Rt 15 By-Pass
- To just beyond the turnback to Business 15.
- Turn left on Tutt Lane (Rt 740) continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.
From Points North
- Take Rt 15 South. Just north of the Rt 15 Business and By-Pass split turn right onto Tutt Lane (Rt 740)
- Continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.
From Points South
- From Warrenton take Rt 29 to Rt 15.
- Turn left onto Rt 15 north.
- From Manassas take Rt 234 northwest to Rt 15.
- Turn right on Rt 15 north continue to Leesburg.
- Turn right onto Rt 15 By-Pass, head north and go North on Rt 15 By-Pass
- To just beyond the turnback to Business 15.

available. Each competitor will jump one round of approximately 10 fences not to exceed 3' in height with spreads to 3'. The twelve horses/ponies
with the highest scores from the stake classes will return to jump a second round over a different course. In the event of equality affecting the selection
of the top twelve, all those equal will qualify. The scores of the twelve horses in the second round will be added to the first round scores and placed
in order of their total score for the two rounds. Horses tied for first place only will jump a third round over a shortened course. Ties for all other places

Open to First Year Green Working, Second Year Green Working, Green Conformation, Regular Working, Regular Conformation, Amateur
Owner 3'3" Amateur Owner and Junior Hunter horses. Horses must have entered, shown and completed the course in at least two classes in the
Hunter Section. The WCHR Handy Hunter Classic will be conducted as a two round class. At least the top fifteen or one third of the entries will
return over a second course. Overall Classic points will count towards USEF high score awards as a "AA” Classic.
The course will consist of ten obstacles of at least six different types. Riders will jump the height of the section they declare before the start of the
class. Riders are requested to wear formal attire.

INFORMATION
The Middleburg Classic Horse Show, its officials, directors and employees, Morven Park, its owners and employees, will not be
held responsible for any accident or loss which may occur to any exhibitor, spectator, guest, rider, groom, attendant or other
employee, animal or equipment at the show.
All exhibitors must wear protective headgear that meet or exceed ASTM/SEI certification at all times while mounted.
Riding will only be allowed in designated areas. No schooling allowed in the rings. Hacking will be allowed at designated times.
STALLS, GROUNDS & OFFICE FEES:
‚
VIP stalls near the ring and hospitality tent are $235.00 per stall and must be requested. All other stalls are $210.00.
‚
Stabling will be in both permanent stalls and temporary stalls under tents. Stall doors will be provided.
‚
Stalls will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.
‚
Stalls may not be occupied before Monday, September 20th.
‚
Stalls will be double rented. When an exhibitor moves out of a stall it becomes the property of the show to use again if needed.
‚
A $50.00 grounds fee will be charged to each entry not paying a stall fee to help pay for grounds cleanup
‚
All entries will be charged a $35.00 office fee.
‚
Non-showing horses will pay a $100.00 non-showing fee.
‚
Each horse will be charged a $10.00 night watch fee.
‚
Each horse will be charged a $2.00 USHJA Zone fee.
An open check or all fees must accompany entry blank. Entries are accepted on a first come basis according to completeness and
payment of entry. Entry blanks must be filled out clearly & completely. Any incomplete entry blanks will be returned to sender.
In case of horses or ponies being entered and not exhibited, the entry fees will be refunded with a vet certificate if received before
September 15th . Substitution of horses into divisions held on the same day as scratched horse, by the same barn, will be accepted
if done at the same time as the scratch with a $35.00 change of entry charge. All requests must be in writing with the manager. There
will be a $50.00 scratch fee for scratches made by September 15th . There will be a $100.00 scratch fee for entries after September
15th. Scratches made in the horse show office by 5:00 p.m. the day before the start of the division being scratched will incur
a $100.00 scratch fee. All scratches made after 5:00 p.m. the day before the start of the scratched division will be charged the
full entry fee, unless a valid vet certificate by the horse show vet is presented at the time of the scratch.
The committee reserves the right to move or postpone, combine or cancel any class if entries are inadequate, for reasons of inclement
weather or dangerous conditions, or for any other reason it deems necessary. The show reserves the right to decline any entry and
return any entry fees before or during the show, without being held liable for compensation and to change location, add or limit any
classes or officials.
ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEASHES AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON THE SHOW GROUNDS. The owner of any dog found
in the ring will be charged a $50.00 fee. The game warden will be on the show grounds throughout the show. Owners will be charged
for any damages caused by dogs.
In order to be eligible for the Stake Classic, or the Middleburg WCHR Handy Hunter, the horse must have been entered in and
completed the course in at least two other classes of a division in the same section.
Prize money will be deducted from exhibitors account in the horse show office. Exhibitors should allow at least thirty minutes from
the end of their division for the secretary to have time to process the results to deduct the prize money. All Classic checks may be
mailed to the owner unless the office is advised otherwise. All prize money checks must be cashed within 30 days. Eight ribbons
will be awarded in all regular classes, and twelve ribbons in the Classics. Champion & Reserve ribbons, coolerettes, and trophies will
be awarded in each section.
Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded to two of the four horses scoring the most points over fences. Only these horses
will receive full points for ribbons won under saddle and half points for ribbons win in the models except the Regular Conformation
which counts full points.
All ponies and junior hunters must have USEF measurement cards or copies. USEF amateur cards are necessary for all amateurs.
All horses must have the original copy of a negative Coggins test made within one year. No entry will be permitted to show
without their original Coggins. All participants must present a copy of their USEF/USHJA membership card. All horses must have
a USEF & USHJA registratiion number.
JUMPS to consist of Brush, Aiken, Panel, Gate, Picket, Roll Top, Natural Gate and Stone or Brick Wall. Footing in the ring and
schooling area is stone dust and sand and grass turf . The rings are approximately 150' x 300'. If necessary a dotted line may be used
in the courses which will be marked on the course chart.
In accordance with the 1989 Federal Waste Tracking Act, which restricts the disposal of medical waste, bio-hazardous medical waste
containers will be provided in the stable area. All exhibitors are responsible for the proper disposal of this waste A fine of $1,000.00
will be imposed on any individual not complying with proper disposal of medical waste.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE STALL TENTS OR PERMANENT BARNS. The fire marshal
makes daily random checks and the TRAINER of the barn where the motorized vehicle is parked will be fined.
Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside
will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or
farm utility vehicles on the competition grounds of recognized competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate
the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. Violations of this
rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainers(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder
of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Rule 6. Wheelchairs and other
mobility assistance devised for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.
Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF and VHSA Rule Books and will
be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. USEF rules take precedence.
All divisions and classes are to be judged on performance, manners, way of going and soundness, unless otherwise stated.
The rated sections of this competition are official USEF point competitions for the USEF National and Zone Horse of the Year
Awards Programs. In all under saddle classes entries are to walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. At least eight, if
available, but never more than eight at one time, may be required to gallop collectively one way of the ring. Green horses,
young horses and non rated divisions not to gallop. Light contact with the horse's mouth is required. Martingales are
prohibited.
Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing
Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage,
Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides provided the respective breed/discipline dues or breed/discipline
category fee has been paid. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer
at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving
Competitions upon payment of a $30 nonmember registration fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from
the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and
academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory
level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions; 8) Opportunity classes. 9) citizens
of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10)
USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.
By entering a Federation-licensed Competition and signing this entry blank as the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager, Agent,
Coach, Driver, Rider, Handler, Vaulter, or Longeur and on behalf of myself and my principals, representatives, employees
and agents, I agree that I am subject to the Bylaws and Rules of the United States Federation, Inc. (the “Federation”) and
the local rules of the competition. I agree to be bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the Federation and of the competition. I
will accept as final the decision of the Hearing Committee on any question arising under the Rules. I represent that I am
eligible to enter and/or participate under the rules, and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as
a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, the Federation and/or the competition may use or assign
photographs, videos, audios, cable-casts, or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition
for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to
advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and
irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of
privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application of Federation rules are governed by the
laws of the state of New York, and any action instituted against the Federation must be filed in New York State: See
GR1502.5.

I AGREE in consideration for my participation in the Middleburg Classic Horse Show to the following:
I AGREE that I choose to participate voluntarily in the Competition with my horse, as a rider, driver, handler, lessee, owner, agent, coach, trainer, or as a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor. I am fully aware and acknowledge that horse sports and the
Competition involve inherent dangerous risks of accident, loss, and serious bodily injury including broken bones, head injuries, trauma, pain, suffering, or death (“Harm”).
I AGREE to release the Federation, Morven Park and its owners, and the Competition Middleburg Classic and its owners and/or directors for all claims for money damages or otherwise for any Harm to me or my horse and for any Harm caused by me or my
horse to others, even if the Harm resulted, directly or indirectly, from the negligence of the Federation , Morven Park and its owners, or the Competition Middleburg Classic and its owners and/or directors.
I AGREE to expressly assume all risks of Harm to me or my horse, and for claims made by others for any Harm caused by me or my horse at the Competition.
I AGREE to indemnify (that is, to pay any losses, damages, or costs incurred) by the Federation and the Competition and to hold them harmless with respect to claims for Harm to me or my horse, and for claims made by others for any Harm caused by me
or my horse at the Competition.
I have read the Federation Rules about protective equipment, including GR801 and EV113, and I understand that I am entitled to wear protective equipment without penalty, and I acknowledge that the Federation strongly encourages me to do so while
WARNING that no protective equipment can guard against all injuries.
If I am a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor, I consent to the child’s participation and AGREE to all provisions and AGREE to assume all of the obligations of this Release on the child’s behalf.
I AGREE that the “Federation” and “Competition” as used above includes all of their officials, officers, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers and affiliated organizations.
I represent that I have the requisite training, coaching and abilities to safely compete in this competition.
