On 28th March, Dr Lee visited Garth

students participating in the Sky
Sports Living for Sport programme.
The session was led by Helen

and a silver medal at the 2002
Commonwealth Games.
Sky Sports Living for Sport is a free
initiative for secondary schools, run in
Dr Lee with students of Garth Hill College
partnership with the Youth Sports
Trust. Now in its eleventh year, the programme benefits 30,000 young people annually,
using the guidance and advice of top athletes to inspire and motivate pupils. Confidencebuilding and a heightened enthusiasm for learning and participation are key components
of the programme.
Dr Lee thoroughly enjoyed meeting with the pupils, who had a great time participating in
the event and hearing about Helen’s commitment and determination.

fundamental part of the drive to secure a national
energy security strategy. Dr Lee also supported

economy. Fujitsu are also investing in local students, having teamed up with students at
Reading University Technical College. By working closely with the college through project
collaboration and technical training, Fujitsu is looking to recruit students onto their 2014
