With885responsesfromacrosstheOrthodoxspectrum,thissurveygivesvoicetoagrowingsegmentoftheJewish community.Respondentsprovideddeeplypersonalandpoignantresponsesaboutthejourneytheyhavetaken,their idenFty,pracFces,beliefsandrelaFonships.Theytolduswhattheywentthrough,whattheymighthavedone differently,andgaveadvicetootherswhoareconsideringleavingtheirOrthodoxcommunityforadifferentlifestyle. SurveySample IncludedinthissurveywerepeoplewhohadanOrthodoxupbringing, butwhonolongerconsiderthemselvestofullybeamemberofthe Orthodoxcommunityinwhichtheywereraised.Analysiswasdoneforall 855responsesandseparatelyforfoursegments(1)theformerlyChasidic excludingChabad,(2)theformerlyChabad,(3)theformerlyYeshivish and(4)theformerlyModernOrthodox.
