MARKET REPORT FOURTH QUARTER 2014 Falcon 50EX EXCLUSIVELY PREPARED BY RENÉ BANGLESDORF WEPUSHTIN.COM | 512.868.9000 MARKET REPORT | Q4 2014 Falcon 50EX As the CEO of Charlie Bravo Aviation, I have the opportunity to work with all types of aircraft and aircraft owners. One of my very favorite things about my role here is hearing the stories of small and mid-sized business owners—and how business aviation has made a huge difference in their ability to expand geographically and financially. Business aviation makes sense. I had the opportunity to attend the Falcon Family Breakfast (a little larger than the one in my kitchen on the weekends) at NBAA in Orlando in October. It’s always fun to talk with owners about their experiences with aircraft and their manufacturers, and the breakfast didn’t disappoint. There’s obviously some strong brand loyalty! But the thing that impressed me the most was the video of Dassault’s drone, Rafale and Falcon 7X. It really underscores the legacy of diversity and research behind the Falcon brand. In the last few months, there has been an uptick in pre-owned aircraft sales. In fact, there has been a higher level of activity in the last 30 days than we have seen in years. Specifically in the Falcon markets, we’ve seen a big surge in sales of the 900 series with steady sales in the 2000s and 7Xs as well. Strauss stresses in his latest research that corporate flight departments are planning acquisitions, and market interest is heating up. If you’re selling, the bright side of this is that there appear to be a fairly decent number of buyers circulating. If you are in the market for another aircraft, the good news is that seller’s expectations for pricing should be fairly realistic, as there have not been shocking price fluctuations over the last six quarters. Charlie Bravo Aviation prides itself on relevant and accurate market data. If you are interested in an evaluation of your aircraft, please send me photos, specifications and a current maintenance report. When you are ready to buy or sell, we’d be delighted to discuss our creative approaches to aircraft acquisitions or sales. Until then, happy flying on some of the most fuel-efficient aircraft on the planet. If you’d like to be added to the mailing list for other market reports, please complete this brief survey and add the appropriate models at the end. Overall so far the fourth quarter has shown only a slight decline in available inventory, even with double the number of aircraft trading. With fresh offerings, there are a healthy number of new choices out there for potential buyers or companies with a fleet expansion mission.
