Erin Boone, 96 FSS Marketing We have shining stars in our midst and our children are in their safe and capable hands! Jeanet Schrack, Eglin’s Family Child Care Provider of the Quarter for Summer 2009, exemplifies what the Air Force seeks in its affiliate providers; a safe, educational and engaging home environment where the children of military families can learn and grow on a daily basis. Mrs. Schrack holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and clearly appreciates the educational side of her position. The children adore her fun loving spirit and their artwork gifts of love cover the walls of her sunny playroom! The parents of children in her home cannot say enough about her dedication to service and the quality of care she provides. On numerous occasions, she has opened her home for child drop-off as early at 5:30 a.m. and stayed open on weekends to provide parents the flexibility needed to complete the mission knowing that their children were safe and happy. Parent Melonie Schang put it best, saying, “She is very loving to all the children in her home. Most days, my children are not ready to leave in the afternoon.” In the two years since Mrs. Schrack was licensed, the faces of the little children in her home have changed, but the glowing praise she has received from their grateful parents has been constant. Colonel Alan Bridges, 96 MSG/CC (pictured above with Mrs. Shrack), and Ms. Paula Denson, Deputy, 96 FSS were on hand to present Jeanet Schrack with her award, as well as her husband and several of the young children in her care. 96 FSS thanks Jeanet for her tireless efforts to help Eglin Air Force Base provide the highest standard of service to our military members and their 5 children. ________________ Information, Tickets & Travel Halloween Horror Ticket Special Tickets for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights are now available at Eglin ITT!
