The film opens in October 2007 with Aurélien Bouvier,
known as “Mouton” (Sheep), who is 17 years old. It was
his destiny that the young Mouton would live his simple
life as a seaside restaurant employee for three years and
that he would be torn away from this life after a tragic
night at the Sainte-Anne ball. Here is the lingering story
of his mates who have remained in a town now inhabited
by dogs and hopes contained in small gestures.

Romanian legend’s final fight at Superkombat Comanesti.
One of the most popular Romanian fighters of all time, Ionut
Iftimoaie, will risk everything in would-be career swan song
against the Superkombat super cruiserweight champion Jorge
Loren on August 6th. Iftimoaie’s fight against Jorge Loren in
his hometown from Romania, Comanesti, will be the last of
his career. Loren is a Superkombat WGP champion 2014 and
Superkombat Super cruiserweight title holder.
The fight between them, which will be the main-event of
the Superkombat WGP IV 2016, will take place in a special
outdoor location, a natural amphitheater, on the Galion hill in
Comanesti, the birth city of Iftimoaie. More than 30.000 are
expected to attend the event, so a new record of audience at
a kickboxing event in Europe will be set.

The Australian Outback 4x4 Extreme is held over
a week of tough competition, around the gateway
to the outback, Broken Hill in New South Wales,
Australia. Competitive stages are held over giant
sand dunes, rock strewn gorges, thick and gluey mud,
deep river crossings and in choking dust. Endurance,
navigation and winching skills are also put to the test.
Teams have to demonstrate vehicle recovery and
navigation skills. It’s not just about driving quickly. The
Special stages are designed to emulate tough Outback
driving conditions so it’s a true test of driving skills. The
personalities of the teams emerge in each event.

THE SOUTHWEST
Chicago to Los Angeles is the most famous road
in the United States. Built from 1926 and long
major axis from east to west, was baptized in turn
“road of dreams“, “mother of all roads“, “long
diagonal“, “Highway of Hope”. In the 30s, it has been
a journey of survival for hundreds of thousands
ruined farmers Midwestern fleeing to California,
immortalized in epic The Grapes of Wrath Steinbeck.
Although decommissioned in 1985, it still represents
the American dream.

NOMADIC NIGHT
Director Marianne Chaud lived for many months
amongst the nomads of the high plateaux
of the Himalayas, using her camera to capture their
words and gestures and creating unusually intimate
portraits for the viewer. At an altitude close to 4,500
metres, they live in one of the highest areas on the
planet. There is the group’s philosopher Tundup,with
his mighty laugh, desolate at the thought of having
to soon abandon his lands. Kenrap, his son, dreamsof
a better life and, against his father’s wishes, plans
to leave for the city. The choice is hard: where will they
be happiest?
