means you can select the provider network that makes
sense for your group.
Choose one of four great options
Whether your company is located in a major metropolitan center or a rural setting, you’re covered by an
extensive Regence network.
To help your employees obtain the greatest value from
your health plan, you can select one of four
network options:
• Preferred FocalPointSM
• Preferred ValueCare
• Preferred BlueOption
• Participating
Your employees will receive the highest benefit level
and the lowest out-of-pocket costs when they see
providers in the network you have selected.
Preferred FocalPoint
The FocalPoint network is a focused network geographically centered along the Wasatch Front from Brigham City
to Payson. It includes the HCA/Mountainstar hospitals and affiliated providers, the University of Utah Hospital and
clinics, as well as other providers. It is the least expensive of the four network options.
The Regence Preferred FocalPoint network provides access to these hospitals:

Preferred ValueCare
The ValueCare network is a broad network of providers. In addition to the providers on FocalPoint, it includes
the Iasis Hospital system and affiliated providers and groups, as well as a network of rural hospitals and facilities
(outside the Wasatch Front).
The Regence Preferred ValueCare network provides access to these hospitals:

The Participating network is our broadest access network. Like a “network of networks”, when you choose the
Participating network it’s like buying all three of the networks above in one complete package. As it includes all of
the healthcare providers with whom we contract throughout the state of Utah, it is generally the most expensive
network option.
The Regence Participating network provides access to all hospitals in the state of Utah.
