A History of Excellence
In 1964 in a one room shop under the oak trees of East Texas,
Marvin Priefert, a former Nebraska wheat farmer and inventor,
built a headgate for his neighbor. Little did he know that first piece
of ranch equipment would later become the foundation of one of
the largest and most respected ranch equipment companies in the
world. His philosophy was simple, build a product of such quality
you don’t mind putting your name on it… and he did. Today,
that one room shop still stands on the Priefert ranch and so does
Marvin’s philosophy. Priefert, now entering its third generation of
leadership, continues to honor that tradition of quality with every
product they build.

Custom Barns

engineers, draftsmen and architects will work with you one-on-one to design

Not only can we design your private or commercial barn, we can also layout

Pre-Engineered Barns
If you’re looking for a traditional barn without the cost of designing and
building a custom barn, consider trying one of Priefert’s pre-engineered
RCA barns. Priefert’s kit barns are made of solid, heavy gauge steel and are
powder coated for longevity. Each standard barn features a 15’ wide raised
center aisle and two 12x12 bays. Multiple bays can be added to extend the
barn to any length desired. Multiple door and window options are available
and the barn has a number of additional options such as bird stops, wash
bays, offices, tack rooms, shop compartments and more. Multiple colors are
also available.
Since each frame is built in Priefert’s state of the art manufacturing facility, you
can be sure that each piece is built with the highest quality standards and is
double checked by Priefert’s quality control inspectors. And since each piece is
built in a precise jig, you can rest assured your barn will be easy to assemble
on site which saves time and money.

art. Designed by artists, developed by engineers and built by master
craftsmen, the Diamond Series has no rival in overall quality and
aesthetics. Each component is hand crafted in Priefert’s custom shop
and no detail is left unchecked. Each stall is then powdercoated with an
architectural grade of powder (many colors to choose from) and baked
on for a furniture-like finish that will endure the elements for years to

Premier Series Stalls
Priefert’s Premier Series Stalls have been a mainstay in the equine
industry for decades. These stalls are currently used in thousands of
barns across the globe. Premier stalls are safe, attractive and affordable
with several options to choose from. We offer a variety of styles to meet
the needs and desires of even the most selective equine enthusiasts.
Wire mesh or vertical bar tops can be combined with mesh, wood or
even polyurethane bottoms in a variety of colors to provide the look and
function you desire. Premier stalls are coated with an architectural grade
of powder which extends the life of the stall and gives it a furniture-like
finish. Each premier stall features a roll door and comes standard with a
door window. Each stall can also be upgraded to feature a hay window
or hay and grain feeder. Priefert premier stalls are horse safe and are
one of the most affordable production stalls on the market.
Exposition Stalls
Priefert’s Expo Stalls are safe, durable, easy to erect and attractive. We
have built expo stalls for America’s premier fair grounds, exposition
centers, race tracks and equestrian centers for many years. You can find
these stalls all over the world in some of the largest equestrian facilities
on the planet including the 3000 stall Super Barn in Oklahoma City.
Since some of the most elite horses in the world are housed in our stalls,
safety is of the utmost importance. Each stall is built to a strict standard
and is individually inspected before being shipped. Powdercoated any

process begins with the proper preparation of the product surface through the use of
technology exclusive in the industry only to Priefert. We then apply an architectural grade
of powder with super TGICs and bake it on to provide a smooth, furniture-like finish that

elements. Every step of the process is done in house by our own engineers to ensure the

Diamond Series Stall
Attention to Detail
Attention to detail is the key to great looking stalls. In order to maintain
our standards of quality control, we own and operate our own in-house
electroplating line. In addition to the accents we plate ourselves, we have
access to many standard catalog cast accents and a unique relationship
with a local pattern maker and two foundries. This allows us to offer cast
accents ranging from small inexpensive cast iron post finial tops to custom
stall accents with your own unique ranch brand.
Accents include fenials (post toppers), name plates,
stall numbers and aluminum signs, brass, bronze
and even stainless steel. Various finishes such
as cast, painted, painted with brush finish,
aluminum highlights, bright brass, antique
brass, bright aluminum, etc. are also
available.

Diamond Series Stall
Decorative newel tops can be custom cast to fit your
specifications. We also offer solid brass, cast steel and cast
iron. Finishes include brass, copper and nickel and are all
done in-house in our electroplating facility. We also offer a
variety of tubing styles such as hammered or smooth square
as well as traditional round tubing. Multiple powdercoat
colors are available with several texture options such as flat,
gloss or textured finishes.
Our attention to detail doesn’t stop at the steel,
wood, powdercoat or accent pieces. To ensure
maximum quality in every stall, we even manufacture
our own hinges in-house to custom fit your stall.

The Priefert Panel Walker is the Cadillac of free walkers. There is
no other horse walker on the market as advanced as the Priefert
Panel Walker system. It is used by World Champions such as Al
Dunning, Martha & R.E. Josey, Brittany Pozzi, and Trevor Brazile.
The Priefert Panel Walker eliminates the need to tie your horses
to the walker so they are able to move about more freely.
Horses that have never been in a walker before have become
trained to use the walker literally within minutes.
With low impedance electrically charged, free-swinging
divider panels, horses that have a tendency to lag behind are
encouraged to keep pace. Each of these divider panels are
made of heavy duty 2”x 2” 4 gauge wire mesh and the electrical
charge is optionally activated at the control box.

Priefert now offers an Economy Cool-Down Walker with the basic functionality of our standard Lead Walker
at a more economical price. Our cool-down walker features a unique Cyclo© Drive gearbox for efficient
torque conversion and years of virtually maintenance free operation. This walker comes standard with 5
arms that create a 32’ diameter.
Operated from the Control Box, our base model cooldown walker is one directional and has a single speed of
3mph using a 1/2 horse power motor. An upgrade model
offers variable speeds up to 6 mph, is reversible, and has a
predetermined workout time setting of one hour.
Just like its big brother, the cool-down walker features
emergency releases on each of its arms as well as an
emergency shutoff that kicks in if any resistance stalls the
motor.
