Recruitment standards
We adopt the highest standards and apply the
most stringent recruitment procedures. Each
applicant is interviewed at one of our branch
offices where their skills and experience are
identified and verified.
4 Candidates must be able to demonstrate
through hands-on experience and training
that they are proficient in any care discipline
that they might be required to undertake
during the course of their work duties.
4 Enhanced DBS disclosures are undertaken
and placements are offered only once an
acceptable disclosure is received. Enhanced
DBSs are updated annually.
4 Written references are sought from two
professional referees, including the applicant’s
current or immediate past employer.
4 Qualifications are verified.
4 Applicants are required to provide a complete
employment history and prove that they are
eligible to work in the UK.
4 All employees participate in a comprehensive
training programme and a formal induction
which includes a thorough explanation
of Superior Care’s policies
