Tomahawk I 2013-2014 WJJQ Welcome Book
Tomahawk is the gateway to the
Northwoods, and we are proud to share
our community and surrounding area
with you. We are proud of the natural
resources we have to offer and invite you
to experience our area rivers, lakes and
trails. Tomahawk has something for
everyone, whether you like boating,
swimming, ATVing, snowmobiling, biking,
hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, canoeing,
and the endless list of other activities
we have to offer. Tomahawk is a four
season destination.
Here in Tomahawk we have a unique blend
of industry and tourism. Not only are we a
great place to visit, but our many residents
think it is a great place to live and work.
We’re a small town of 3,700 nestled in the
Northwoods where three rivers converge.
We offer an excellent school system, more
than 20 churches, several vibrant civic
organizations, and all the amenities of a
Wisconsin city. We are also just a short
drive from several larger cities.
For more information about
Tomahawk and our businesses,
please visit our website online
at: www.gototomahawk.com
or call us at 1-800-569-2160.
We hope that you will come
to Tomahawk and experience
“Life the way it’s Meant
to be.”
