Since 1957 Attbar has produced a variety of water craft
Since 1957 Attbar has produced a variety of water craft and other fiberglass products. Drawing upon years of boat
building experience to build this exceptionally stable craft, Attbar introduced the first AquaPod in 1971. With a
low profile that dissappears into your surroundings, the AquaPod will get you more limits without sacrificing
safety. The molded-in keel tracks straight to maneuver easily and skim through the water without getting
snagged on aquatic vegetation or hung up when paddling shallow water.
To suit your needs, the AquaPod is available in 8, 10, or 12 foot lengths; or custimize your AquaPod by choosing
from three material grades. The SPORT is built using polyethylene plastic, the SEEKER is molded with our standard
fiberglass construction, and the EXPLORER is constructed with light weight composites.
The standard finish of the AquaPod is a scuff sanded deck with a gloss hull in one of our standard colors, or on
the SEEKER and EXPLORER you can specify a gloss deck at no extra charge. To achieve the camo finish on a
SEEKER or EXPLORER, Attbar incorporates camouflage fabric into the laminate.

Every AquaPod is built with positive floatation foam in the bow and the stern.
A Coast Guard Approved Personal Flotation Device must be used at all times when
using the AquaPod.
The AquaPod is classified by the Coast Guard as a kayak/canoe. However, the Pod is
not designed for use in white water conditions.
The AquaPod® is a low-profile boat, and while stable, it is intended to be used in a
sitting or kneeling position.
Never tow the AquaPod while it is occupied. Serious injury or death could result.
It is the responsibility of the AquaPod user to learn, know and follow all boating
safety rules and ensure that the boat is used for the intended purposes.
The AquaPod's basic design cannot be altered. Special requests for modifications to features or added options should
be addressed to Attbar's General Manager. Specific modifications must be requested by the purchaser in writing and
pre-approved before the order can be processed.

Note on durability: Long term, a fiberglass or composite boat will maintain its initial level of performance better than a polyethylene
rotomolded boat. Fiberglass and composites are stiffer, hold their shape, resist deep scratches and are easier to repair. A superficial
scratch through gelcoat will be more visible than the same scratch in polyethylene. Polyethylene construction is less expensive and
is more resistant to damage from impact. Since it is a thermo-formed plastic, care must be taken not to warp/distort a polyethylene
boat (especially strapped to your roof rack in the sun or sitting on a hot, sandy beach). If damaged, a fiberglass or composite boat
can be brought back to like-new condition using readily available repair kits.
