History of the CCA Group
The CCA Group –
Exclusiveness and standard under one roof
Dieter R. Klostermann
Chairman
The CCA Group is one of the leading international delevopers and operators of private
Business-, Sport-, and Golf-Clubs in the Asia / Pacific region, and since since 1994 also in
Europe. As a pioneer in professional management of private clubs in Asia, the CCA Group
operates over 30 clubs. Further Clubs are in development. Continuous growth forms the
company’s healthy economic basis. Long-term experience in development and
commercialization is leading to a constant expansion of the club’s offers for all its members
worldwide. All members of the CCA Group can take advantage of a worldwide network, with
all the benefits of at least 50 International Associate Clubs (IAC), (Golf-, Country-, Sport- and
City-Clubs). New York, London, Tokyo, Peking, Hong Kong, and Sydney are just a few of the
cities in which you will have access to the exclusive clubs.
Today the CCA Group operates in 16 countries. One important hub of the CCA Group is the
renowned “London Capital Club” in England, as well as the „Brocket Hall Golf Club in the
London countryside. This former country house, once home Prime Minister Lord Palmerston,
offers exclusive conference facilities in conjunction with two high standard 18 hole Golf
courses, on 300 ha. In Germany the “Berlin Capital Club” is completed by the “Berlin Golfund Country Club Motzener See e.V.”
The philosophy of the CCA Group is the development of clubs and resorts with excellent
service and benefits, first class business management and exclusive service. But even with all
similarities, each club has there own particular note formed by individual design and character,
which combine global and national sentiments. The main focus of the CCA Group is the
international advancement in making business contacts in a delightful ambience. The pillar of
the CCA Clubs is the foundation committee, as well as the advisory board, who advise the
management in club planning, a concept, which has proven to be successful around the world.
You will find detailed information on www.cca-intl.com and www.palmerstonhotels.com.

Members of the founding committee and advisory Board The foundation of a successful club life
Founding Committee
The Berlin Capital Club is designed as a forum for leading personalities, who are actively involved
in the daily life of the high society in Berlin. It is not only a place to rest and relax for travelers
from inland and abroad, but also provides an ambitious framework to keep in touch with
international business relations.
An important element of the club’s concept, the founding committee, consisting of 26 members,
has been a guarantee for the well-established Berlin Capital Club. Among those have been
personalities who, because of their prestige and high regard have formed the spirit and character of
the Berlin Capital Club.
Furthermore the duties and responsibilities of the founding committee are to deliberate on the
inquiries of the individual and firm memberships, which are solely based on recommendations.
Aside from that the founding committee has acted as an advisor for the club’s management in
planning and organiziation of social & business functions. Consequently the philosophy of the
Berlin Capital Club has primarily been defined by the members of the founding committee. Wellknown representative of economy, politics and culture have been won over as constitutive
members. On the basis of their experience and competence, the founding committee has
developed ideas to embrace the club standard „Your link to global business“. The centre of
attention was the promotion of cosmopolitan affairs, plus the active connection of the capital city
to the worldwide based network of the CCA group.
Page 4
Page 5
Advisory Board
After a successful first year, the function of the founding committee has been assigned to an
Advisory Board. Amongst other duties, the board is responsible for social, political and cultural
representation, to give advice in new developments, for recommendation of new members and to
be a physical representative of the Berlin Capital Club during important events.

If you still have objections about your membership, again you will find our and your reasons below:
Good reasons for a membership
The privilege of being a member of Berlin’s first private business club with world-wide connections.
Over the coming years your membership will gain in value.
The possibility of following up on common business interests with high-class members of the German and
international society as well as managers of the German business economy.
Invitations to regularly occurring forums which allow an insight into the latest news, trends and developments
in economy, culture and politics.
You are always welcome to bring guests along with you. We are certain that they will never forget the special
atmosphere of the Club. You will be able to arrange receptions, dinners or luncheons in private rooms from 2
to up to 500 guests. All privileges of the club also apply to your spouse.
The prices for high quality food and drinks are noticeably lower than in leading restaurants. This is especially
then an advantage, if you regularly dine with customers and business friends. Meetings can be held in absolute
discretion.
The Advisory Board determines the basic direction of all club activities as well as the formation of members.
Its work is supported by a qualified management team who engages itself in the interests of the members and
feels responsible for the primary philosophy of the Berlin Capital Club.
A strict selection procedure – membership only by recommendation – secures a harmonic membership circle.
Members can recommend friends and colleagues for admission to the Club.
The chefs and their teams, with their international awards, are encouraged by the Club to present you and
your guests with country typical cuisine and drinks.
Personal service gives you the certainty that you and your wishes are known to the Club and are met. The
experienced management team and qualified staff are the guarantee for high standard and consistently high
quality.
The quarterly issue of the newsletter makes it easier for members to plan interesting entertainment in good
time.
Agreements with selected hotels world-wide secure you favourable overnight accommodation rates. When
visiting the Berliner Golf- und Country Club Motzener See e.V. discounted prices will be granted to you.
We can organize tickets for premieres, concerts or sport events for you.
Your financial accounting will be send by mail at the end of the month.
Additionally, every member is entitled to the special membership privileges offered by the International
Associate Club (IAC), which is associated with world-wide nearly 250 Clubs (City, Business, Sport, Golf and
Country Clubs). The only precondition is, that the Club needs to be more than 200 kilometres away from
Berlin. Members can use these advantages immediately after permission for the admission to the Club is
granted. Submission of the IAC membership card is sufficient.
