His work blends spiritual vibes and real life hardcore truths that display a depth and consciousness way beyond his years. “My inspiration comes from everyday life and mostly from the Most High. He is the one who pens all my work,” reflects Kyenie. JamaicaBorn King is inspired by varied genres of music from Bob Marley, Tracy Chapman, The Script, and countless others, which is reflected in his music. Guitarstrapped Kyenie is known for his electric uplifting stage presence. “I’ve always loved to perform. The audience energizes me, it doesn’t matter if it’s to one person or a million, I refuse to fall short on a performance,” states Kyenie. He also never falls short of a sweet love song. His latest one, Love Means Everything is warming hearts globally. His 1st album, Then, Now, After, is still creating waves with hits like Wings of an Angel, Old Time Tradition and Rain, which was on the movie Shottas Soundtrack. His latest EP includes evergreen tunes like Mi Nah Complain, Ghetto Dream, and Words are Wind. With a musical career spanning 15 years, Kyenie has performed in the Caribbean, America, Canada, and Europe. He has shared the stage with many talented musicians from the Marley Brothers to Shaggy and he has worked with great producers including Shane Brown, Christopher Birch, Robert Livingston, and many others.
