In the construction industry, unloading using a hydraulic
tipping system is one of the more pleasant activities of
what is otherwise a tough job.
Even self-made all-rounders and small contractors can
benefit from Humbaur’s many years of experience in
­tipper building.
The new HUK series combines sturdy trailer design with
a low-wear, low-maintenance hydraulic tipping system.

Jockey wheel is

Undercarriage and running gear
Shock absorbed rubber torsion beam axle. Maintenance-free
­rubber torsion beam axle with outstanding shock absorbing
­properties – ensures good driving characteristics, even on rough
­terrain.
High-quality 10-inch wheels. Tested and proven tyres for optimum
safety and smooth running. Suitable for speeds up to 100 km/h.
Jockey wheel. Standard equipment on all HUK models for easy
­manoeuvring, even when the trailer is fully loaded.
Safety
Overrun braking system on both wheels, with automatic reverse.
For safe, quick braking, even in critical driving situations.
Large safety lights. Integrated fog tail light and triangular reflectors
ensure that the trailer can be seen, even at night and in adverse
weather. The lighting system is integrated into the underrun
­protection device and thus protected from damage and dirt.
Ball coupling with safety indicator. A green mark appears when
the coupling is completely engaged.
Hydraulic tipping system
Hand pump with aluminium and plastic housing. Pump and oil reservoir form a single unit. Powerful, dual-action hand pump makes unloading even a fully loaded tipper quick, easy and effortless.
Large, 2-stage tipper ram. A powerful tipper ram effortlessly lifts
the platform out of its resting position and securely tips it. Angled arrangement of the ram gives the tipper good ground clearance, which
is beneficial on uneven terrain. A hard-chromed inner rod makes for a
corrosion-resistant tipping ram.
Superstructure
Removable corner stanchions. Removable corner stanchions with
options for inserting extension sides, cover frame, etc.
Double-walled, aluminium sides, front and tailboard. Sides, front
and tailboard are removable and fitted with easy-to-open recessed
catches. Double-walled structure gives sides, front and tailboard great
stability to withstand the pressure of the trailer’s maximum load.
Tie rings. Two tie rings on each side for securing those loads that

The HUK can be equipped with an extensive range of options to suit any
application.
Steel mesh extension sides: Approx. 620 mm high, these extension
sides make it easy to transport large volumes of light materials such
as tree and shrub trimmings, leaves, garden waste, etc.
350 mm sides, front and tailboard, with stanchions: To increase
load volume, the trailer can be fitted with sides, front and tailboards
that are 50 mm higher than the standard 300 mm.
Side, front and tailboard extensions, with stanchions: To increase
load volume, 350 mm extension sides can be added to the standard
sides, front and tailboard.
Flat soft cover – soft cover on frame: To increase the cost-effectiveness of the HUK or to protect the load from environmental factors
such as snow and rain, the trailer can be easily fitted with a flat soft
cover or a soft cover on a frame with a loading height of 1300 mm or
1600 mm.

With a box measurement of 2700 x 1500 x 300 mm,
this rear-end tipper is an important member of our tipper
family.
It is ideally suited for transporting heavy loads such as
timber, and its 1500 mm width enables it to pass through
narrow farmyard entrances.
This little fellow offers all the same equipment options as
its bigger brothers.
The Garant is available with gross weights of 2000 kg and
2400 kg as standard.

If there were a quality standard for tipper trailers,
it would be called HTK.
Heavy duty lever

With its technical innovations, our revamped HTK three-way tipper is setting
standards that the industry is sure to follow.
For example, our corner stanchions are now finished in a cathodic dip-painting
process. This process is ideal for the stanchions because it gives them especially
high impact strength and corrosion resistance.
A combination of electrical and hand pump is now standard equipment ­
for trailers with a gross weight of 3.0 t or more. What’s new about this
­combination is that an oil circulation loop enables combined use of both
­options.
Our engineers have linked the battery for the electric pump to the 13-pin light
plug so that the battery can always be recharging while the trailer is in transit
– that is, if the towing vehicle’s sockets are configured accordingly.
The tracks for the retractable aluminium loading skids are now integrated as
standard equipment on this trailer, so it’s easy to add skids any time.
We’ve made numerous other improvements that are sure to make it even easier
for you to choose your new three-way tipper.

Chassis
Chassis design. State-of-the-art, weight-saving, heavy-duty structure
made of welded, specially formed beams to withstand the rigours of
daily use at building sites.
Platform. Made of a single solid steel plate and rounded along the
long edge for increased stability. Well-designed substructure provides
the necessary stability, even when the trailer is being loaded using a
wheel loader or excavator.
Hot-dip galvanised undercarriage and bed frame for the utmost in
durability and protection against corrosion. Rust doesn’t stand a
chance.
Draw bar. Standard equipment is a bolted safety A-frame draw bar
for optimum transfer of force onto the running gear and for stability
when travelling under extreme conditions; can be replaced easily
when damaged.

HTK 2500.31). Pump and oil reservoir form a single unit. Powerful,
dual-action hand pump makes unloading even a fully loaded tipper
quick, easy and effortless.
Electric and hand pump are standard. Combination hand pump and
electric pump with battery are standard on models HTK 3000.31 and
higher, ruling out improper operation. Quick, easy tipping at the push
of a button via remote control.
13-pin plug – charging plug. A 13-pin plug that also serves as the
battery charger, recharging the battery during driving mode upon
completion of the tipping process (provided that the towing vehicle’s
13-pin socket is configured accordingly) is standard equipment on ­
all HTK models.
Removable stanchions are coated in a cathodic dip-painting process,
making them impervious to impact during loading and unloading.
Additional advantages of this process are lasting value and durability.

Aluminium loading skids: To enable construction machinery and
equipment to be driven atop the trailer, the HTK can be equipped
with aluminium loading skids that are 2650 mm long and have a
load capacity of 2.8 t. Because the skid insertion points are standard,
skids can be retrofitted easily.
Height adjustable draw bar: With this draw bar, the trailer can be
adjusted to fit a variety of different towing vehicles and coupling
heights, thus expanding the trailer’s possible uses. The draw bar can
be fitted with a DIN eye coupling or a ball coupling.

In addition to its rear-end and three-way tippers up to 3500 kg,
­Humbaur also offers three-way tippers with compressed air brake
­systems with gross weights of between 6900 kg and 13600 kg. ­
These specialist trailers are especially well suited for the construction,
horticulture and landscaping industries and for all companies that ­
have to tip cargo.
The trailer platforms can be between 4540 mm and 5500 mm
long and are 2420 mm wide. Heavy duty construction,
well-designed technology, and numerous smart details make ­
these tippers indispensable helpers at construction sites.
These all-rounders can be fitted with an extensive range of
options to suit each user’s needs and applications.
Humbaur also offers “smaller tippers with compressed air brake ­
systems” up to 5000 kg gross weight for toll-free transport. These
tippers have all the same technical features as their bigger brothers
and can be towed by 7.49 t towing vehicles on German roads
without being subject to tolls.
