After Care
CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!
Pair up an AM & PM Camp of your Choice,
and We’ll Take Care of the Rest!
Bridge Care is a way for you to customize a camp experience that
fits your schedule and your child’s interests. Bridge Care gives the
opportunity for parents to add an additional lunch hour to their
half day camp OR piece together an AM and PM camp of their
choice. Children will be walked from their morning camp options
to the Red Morton Community Center where they will eat lunch in
an enclosed room and play yard from 12-1pm. Children will then
be walked to their afternoon camp option by our staff. Bridge care
is designed to offer you flexibility, convenience and provide your
child with a variety of opportunities to move, grow, learn and
explore specific interests.
ONLY CAMPS WITH THE DESIGNATED ICON NEXT TO THEM WILL
QUALIFY FOR CARE.
LOCATION: RMCC
Camps with a clock icon next to them qualify for After Care. Our
trustworthy staff will pick up campers from their PM camp and
walk them to the Red Morton Community Center. Parents please
pick up your campers by 6:00pm. Please note, some of our camp
providers provide their own after care. Those camps will have the
post care listed with the camp description. ONLY CAMPS WITH
THE DESIGNATED ICON NEXT TO THEM WILL QUALIFY FOR CARE.
Applicable camps are located on the Red Morton Park Campus
only (RMCC, CAB, VMSC, Fields and the Skatepark).

HIGH-5 CAMP
Ages 4-6
with Recreation Staff
Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean the learning has to stop.
Bring your curiosity and check out Camp High-5. We will explore
fun activities to enrich your learning. From building projects
to cooking and science experiments; Camp High-5 will blend
traditional summer games, art & crafts with exciting, in-depth,
hands on theme based projects. High-5 is moving to a new
location on site at Red Morton Community Center, with its very
own fenced in playground and in room bathrooms.
*2 afternoon sessions of High-5 will be Spanish Immersion. Your
child will experience all the recreation fun of High-5 while being
immersed in the Spanish language. These weeks are geared
towards both native Spanish speakers and Spanish language
learners. No prior Spanish speaking is required.
Full Day Campers, or those who are staying for lunch need to
bring lunch daily. Half day campers may also sign up for Bridge
Care if they would like to have lunch and stay for an extra hour.

Age 6-11
Children discover the amazing science of Archaeology as they
uncover ancient artifacts. In doing this, we will learn about Egyptian
life. We will excavate with tools like a real archaeologist uses. We
will find the following artifacts as we excavate a scarab (what’s
that?), hieroglyphic tablet, ankh symbol and a jackal. You will learn
about this and even take home a booklet. The artifacts are yours
to keep. We will wet the sand that we dig into and create one of
two sand sculptures for display. You can make a pyramid as well
as a sphinx. Let’s go back in time with a hands on archaeological
experience!

SKYHAWKS BEGINNING GOLF
Age 5-9
For more information, please visit www.skyhawks.com
Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes
by teaching proper technique to refine essential skills of the game.
Golf is a challenging and lifelong sport, so young athletes need
proper focus on the fundamentals of form, swinging, putting, and
body positioning. To assist in this training, Skyhawks has adopted
the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system as its curriculum. SNAG
utilizes a set of equipment designed for beginning golfers, including
oversized plastic club heads and “mini tennis balls” to help build
confidence and to have fun. Developed by PGA professionals, SNAG
is specifically designed for the entry-level player; SNAG simplifies
instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective
transition onto the golf course. No need to bring your own clubs--all
equipment is provided. Please apply sunscreen prior to arrival at
camp. Also, please send snacks and adequate supplies of water.

Interested in gaining professional experience while working hands-on in a
summer camp setting?
The Leadership in Training (LIT) Program gives teens the opportunity to develop
important job skills and prepare for future employment through training, handson experiences, and evaluation. Learn useful leadership skills, get hands on
training with young children, and meet interesting new people. Please note:

into consideration, site placement will be assigned by the L.I.T Coordinator.
Throughout the summer there will be:
• Sports Activities
• Field Trips
• Arts & Crafts
• Leadership Workshops
• Team Building & Personal Skills Training
• Plus a lot of FUN!
SUMMER CAMP
A certificate of completion will be given to all participants at the L.I.T.
