ISBN:0-87021-062-9 For those of us lucky enough to have a copy, it is a great resource for basic knotting. Since illustrations are done with three stranded, right laid rope, it is a useful tool for doing rigging on square rigged ships. This was also one of the first knotting books to use photographs for illustrations. Members of the IGKT were able to contact relatives of Cyrus who still had some of the original materials for display. It was wonderful to see some of the material close up and personal.
