The Buffalo Ride
Approximately 185 miles
Watch for pull-offs and scenic overlooks as you follow
tree-lined roads and winding highways through the
Ozark National Forest. See the spectacular mountain
views and an abundance of wildlife as you experience
one of Arkansas’ premiere rides.
Attractions along the way:
Cliff House overlooking the “Arkansas Grand
Canyon” – Perched high above the Little Buffalo River
Valley in Jasper, the Cliff House on scenic Hwy. 7 has
been captivating visitors since 1967. Take a moment
to enjoy one of state’s most beautiful vistas known as
the Arkansas Grand Canyon.
The Buffalo River – The country’s first national river
offers spectacular scenery with limestone bluffs,
overhanging trees and clear water. The ride’s crossing
is a peaceful place to fish, float or just stop and take
in the view.
Mystic Caverns – See two of the most scenic caves in
the Ozarks – Mystic Cavern and Crystal Dome Cavern
in Harrison. Retrace the steps of the early settlers and
enjoy the sounds of the cave’s 28-foot “pipe organ.”
Lost Valley Spur
Approximately 29 miles roundtrip
Take in the scenery as you ride alongside the Upper
Buffalo Wilderness Area and the edge of the Buffalo
River. Look closely and you might catch a glimpse of elk
grazing in the open fields bordering the road.
Attractions along the way:
Lost Valley State Park – Explore the beauty of
Arkansas’ topography with trails, waterfalls, swimming
holes and caves. Hike along a creek bed that takes you
near a natural bridge and Eden Falls, which flows out
of Eden Cave.
War Eagle Mill Ride
Approximately 130 miles
Take a grand tour of Northwest Arkansas as this
attraction-packed ride loops through Fayetteville,
Springdale, Rogers and Eureka Springs. Once you’ve
seen the pristine lake, steep mountains, charming
towns, old-fashioned mill and historic battlefield, you’ll
end your ride near all the action on Dickson Street in
Fayetteville.
Attractions along the way:
Pea Ridge National Military Park – Pea Ridge
preserves the site of an 1862 Civil War battle that gave
the Union total control of Missouri and led directly to
the occupation of Arkansas. The park encompasses
4,300 acres and features a reconstructed Elkhorn
Tavern, visitors’ center, museum, self-guided tours
and a 2.5-mile segment of the “Trail of Tears.”
Eureka Springs – One of America’s most scenic and
charming communities, its streets are lined with
Victorian homes, and its entire downtown area is filled
with one-of-a-kind shops, boutiques, fine art galleries,
craft emporiums, spas, museums and restaurants.
War Eagle Mill – See the working water-powered
gristmill and take an educational tour of the mill
to learn about how it operates and the process of
grinding. Enjoy the restaurant or visit the gift shop
for organic products including salsas, flours, meals,
cereals, whole grain mixes, jams, jellies, preserves,
salad dressings, bread mixes and soup starters.
3
Pig Trail Ride
Approximately 125 miles
With its surprising twists and dipping curves, this ride
is for true adventurers. Overlook cliffs and lakes as you
ride the ridge top of scenic Hwy. 23 through the Ozark
National Forest and return on historic Hwy. 71. This route’s
scenic byways are well paved, but not congested.

valley of the Boston Mountains, this state park with
all new facilities offers outdoor adventures including
camping, fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, nature
study and boat rentals.

on I-40 takes to you to Arkansas Wine Country. The
region’s wineries are open seven days a week for free
tastings and tours.
Devil’s Den Spur
Approximately 29 miles
See massive bluffs, caves and wet weather waterfalls as
you cut through the rugged Boston Mountains, where
you’ll find some of the best switchbacks around. The
spur leaves the Ozark National Forest on Hwy. 74, loops
through Devil’s Den State Park, and Hwy. 170 takes you
back to I-540 in Winslow.
Devil’s Den State Park – Surrounded by the Ozark
National Forest, this park includes a group camp,
pavilion and hiking and backpacking trails. Bring a
flashlight and explore wild caves and the nation’s
largest sandstone crevice area.
4
Eureka Springs Ride
Approximately 115 miles
This ride offers a little bit of everything. Explore
historic sites, scenic views, curving roads and
charming towns as you twist through the Boston
Mountains on historic Hwy. 23 and finish up the ride
with a leg of open interstate.
Attractions along the way:
Withrow Springs State Park – Situated in the Ozark
Mountains, the backdrop for this 786-acre park is
unspoiled wilderness beauty rolling over mountains
and valleys. Withrow Spring gushes from a small cave
at the foot of a bluff, spills into a pond, cascades
over a ledge and meanders for about a mile before
joining War Eagle Creek, the western boundary of
the park.

the Ozarks, motorcyclists can enjoy the carefree
atmosphere and winding streets lined with a host
of unusual shops, Victorian architecture and art
galleries. The entire downtown is listed on the
National Register of Historic Places.
Pea Ridge National Military Park – The most intact
Civil War battlefield in the country was the site of
an 1862 battle that gave the Union total control
of Missouri and led directly to the occupation
of Arkansas. The park’s 4,300 acres feature a
reconstructed Elkhorn Tavern, visitors’ center,
museum, self-guided tours and a 2.5-mile segment
of the “Trail of Tears.”
Siloam Springs Ride
Approximately 80 miles
Test your luck on this ride’s twisting turns or hold
out for the tables at Cherokee Casino in West
Siloam Springs, right across the Oklahoma border.
On the way, you’ll find one the country’s few
remaining drive-in movie theaters, the 112 Drive-In
in Fayetteville. Watch for airplanes overhead as you
pass the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.
Attractions along the way:
Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park – Walk the onemile trail or ride the five-mile driving tour to explore
what is recognized nationally as one of America’s
most intact Civil War battlefields. Don’t miss the
Battlefield Museum and the historic structures in
the Ozark Village.
Siloam Springs Area – The city is known for its
historic downtown where you’ll enjoy walking tours
and boutique-lined streets and see scenic Sager
Creek. Fountains, footbridges, gazebos and duck
crossings compel visitors to relax and enjoy the
surroundings in Twin Springs Park. Or, try your luck
at Cherokee Casino in West Siloam Springs for
electronic and table gaming.

Hop off your bike to enjoy the walk-through areas
where you can interact with a variety of exotic
