• It has been increasingly observed, from past few decades that
the adverse environmental impacts caused by soil erosion,
water and air pollution as a result of tourist and other
developmental activities are not only damaging the natural,
cultural and manmade resources, but also affecting the health
and very survival of living beings. The notification emphasizes
on making a Zonal Master Plan for the entire Eco-sensitive
Zone, Sub-Zonal Plans for the area within and outside the
Mount Abu Municipal Council Area and a Tourism Master
Plan.

Master Plan of Mount Abu Urban Area had been prepared by the Chief Town Planner and Town and Country Planning
Department for 1981-2001 and 2001-2025
