Alekseev” “KOMETA 120M” / “KOMETA 120R” HISTORY OF CREATION “Kometa 120M/ R” was designed on the basis of 30-year long experience of designing and developing the following hydrofoil vessels: “Kometa”, “Kolkhida” and “Katran” “Kometa” Hydrofoil In total 172 vessels were built in years 1980-1990, many of them are still in use in Greece, Italy, Croatia, Cabo Verde, Bulgaria and Russia “Kolkhida” Hydrofoil In total 42 vessels were built in the in years 1980-1990, several are currently in use in Greece, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria and Russia “Katran” Hydrofoil 3 vessels were built, 2 of them are currently in use: both in Russia 7 JSC “Central Design Bureau for Hydrofoil Craft named after R.E.
