FME used to generalization process BDOT10k to BDOO Part of selection process objects from BDOT10k - the first stage of generalization FME used to generalization process BDOT10k to BDOO Process of DLM generalization for watercourses FME used to generalization process BDOT10k to BDOO Part of process of DLM generalization for watercourses BDOO Comparison of selected elements from databases BDOO and BDOT10k for the area of Warsaw Legend: -roads -watercourses -building area -woodland -grassland BDOT10k and BDOO Comparison for roads from databases BDOT10k and BDOO - blue line – BDOT10k - red line – BDOO BDOT10k and BDOO Watercourses and railway lines for voivodeship in BDOO database - green – watercourses - red – railway lines BDOT10k and BDOO Comparison for woodland from BDOT10k and BDOO - blue – BDOT10k - red line – BDOO Conclusions One coherent model for BDOT10k, BDOO – DLM, and one for DCM (all LoD’s) helps in data management. BDOO quality and degree of automation of generalization precess depends largely on the quality of the BDOT10k database. Errors in directional network of watercourses influence the effect of generalization process. We have to change the DLM generalisation process BDOT10k to BDOO to fully automatic. We plan to build fully automatic DCM generalisation processes for LoD’s 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k, 250k, 500k, 1000k. marcin.lebiecki@gugik.gov.pl
