These horse shows are rated “A”. These Hunterdon County Horse Shows are rated “A”
in the following divisions: Green Working Hunter, Green Conformation Hunter, Amateur
Owner Hunter, Pony Hunter, Performance Working Hunter, Junior Hunter, Green Pony
Hunter. This horse show is “C” rated in, Children’s Hunter, Adult Amateur Hunter and
Pre Green Hunter.
This show is recognized by USEF, NJPHA, NJHSA, NAL, WIHS, PHA, and Marshall &
Sterling.
STALL FEES: Limited stabling is available. All stall reservations must be paid in full
by July 2nd. STALL FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. Only fully paid stall reservations
will be accepted at $160.00 per horse show or $250.00 for both shows.
ENTRIES: Entries close July 2nd. There will be a $25.00 late fee for entries received
after July 2nd. Entries may be faxed to Mary Norris @ 732-361-3454
Prize money will be available at the Secretary’s office 1 hour after the conclusion of
each division.
Schooling: Limited schooling, please check the time schedule! Schooling is $10.00
per horse to be paid at the gate. Ten horses will be permitted in the ring for 10 minutes.
Schooling will be permitted only if weather and footing permit. This will be at the discretion of the show management.
Numbers: No numbers will be given out without full payment of entry fees, all necessary
signatures, membership cards and other required information on the entry blank.
Large Rings: Two rings @ 150’ X 300’, and two rings @ 110’ X 250’. All rings are
sand all weather footing.

Take 95 North to Exit 3B (Scotch Rd. North). Stay straight off ramp and go straight through
3 lights; at 4th light turn left onto Washington Crossing Rd. At second traffic light make right
onto Rte. 579 (Trenton Harbourton Rd). Duncraven is 2 miles on the right.
From North (New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, New England)
From Flemington NJ, take Rte. 202 South to Rte. 31 South. Follow 31 South to 2nd traffic
light. Right onto Rte. 518 West. Left onto Rte. 579 South. Duncraven is 2 miles on the left.
From East
Take NJ Turnpike South. Take Exit 9. After leaving the toll booth, bear right onto Rte. 18 East
for approx 1/2 - 1 mile. Exit onto Route 1 South. Follow Route 1 South to 95 South. Take 95
South to Exit 3B (Scotch Rd. North). Stay straight off ramp and go straight through 2 lights; at
3rd light turn left onto Washington Crossing Rd. At second traffic light make a right onto Rte.

RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS
Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current
USEF rule book will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.

HUNTER CLASSES will be judged on performance and soundness. Any additional specifications will be
noted.
HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIPS will be awarded in accordance with USEF Rule HU 148.
STABLING - All stalls will be on a first come, first serve basis. Stalls must be reserved by JULY 3RD.
All stabling must be paid in advance. NO REFUNDS Stalls are 10’x 10’ temporary stalls with doors.
Prize money will be awarded in the office and checks must be cashed in 30 days or will not be honored.
A computerized jumping order may be assigned in all over fences classes.
Hunter courses may include brush, coops, in and out, stone wall, logs, gates, and will be posted at the in
gate at least one hour prior to each class.
Jumper courses may include post and rail , gates, oxers, walls, panels, coops, or any other combination of
the above. THIS SHOW IS A USEF JUMPER RATING 1.
COURSES AND FENCES - The committee reserves the right to change the obstacles or vary the courses
at their discretion.
SCHOOLING will be permitted only in the areas provided by the committee and only over practice jumps.
REFUNDS will be mailed 30 days after the show. A $25.00 processing fee per horse or equitation rider
will be deducted from all refunded entries. PLEASE NOTE: Once a horse or rider has shown in a class,
they are no longer eligible for a refund. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR STALLS for any reason.
The committee reserves the right to cancel any class when in its judgement the entries are inadequate and to
combine or divide any class or classes should the best interest of the show or the rules of the USEF require
it.
If necessary to meet time schedule requirements, show management reserves the right to limit the number
of entries accepted in each division. (First come, first served basis.) Also reserved is the right to move the
location of classes, and adjust the time schedule if in the opinion of management circumstances dictate
such changes.
Exhibitors are notified that any discourtesy or disobedience to the judges or officials on the part of an
owner, rider or groom shall disqualify the horse, and the owner shall forfeit his entry and other fees.
Exhibitors must be in proper riding attire and wear approved protective headgear.
Points toward annual NJPHA High Score Awards will be given only to the winners of a class who are
members of the NJPHA. However non-members may exhibit and place in a class.
A processing fee of $50.00 will be made for all non-negotiable checks. Any returned checks not “made
good” within 10 days will be forwarded to the USEF for collection per USEF Rule GR. 913.
Duncraven Horse Show, Duncraven Inc., and Duncraven L.L.C. will in no case be responsible for any loss
or damage that may occur and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold the Duncraven
Horse Show, Duncraven Inc., and Duncraven L.L.C. harmless for any illness, loss or accident which may
occur by fire or otherwise.
MOTORIZED VEHICLE STATEMENT Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows
them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility
vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license
may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a
valid driver’s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent
or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any
damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for
sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing
the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the
competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above
individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule..
USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to
participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above
and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions
and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach
or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions
and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $30 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following
classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4)
classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses
used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes;
7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have
proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA
beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.

to receive a score. Top 15 back for a classic round.

301: $500.00 Duncraven 2’6” Hunter Derby - Open to junior and amateur riders on horses or
ponies. Horses and riders may cross into any division for which they are eligible. First round is a
hunter course and second round is a handy course. Top 12 compete in the second round.
Fences: 2’6”. Entry Fee: $60.00

302(A): Marshall & Sterling Bit O Straw Children’s Hunter Classic
302(B): Marshall & Sterling Bit O Straw Adult Hunter Classic - Open to all Junior and
Amateur Riders. No Cross Entry in M & S Children’s Hunter or Adult Amateur Hunter Classic
or any rated division. To be run as an open numerical scored class. Fence Height 2’6”

To be eligible horse and rider must have entered, shown and completed courses in at least 2 of
the classes in the Junior Hunter or the Amateur Owner 3’6” division. To be run as a separate 2
round classic. 8 entries to fill.

Classes 309: $1500 Child Adult M&S/NAL/WIHS Jumper Classic
To be run under USEF Table II, Sec. 2(a), time first jump-off. The first round and first
jump-off, if any, are decided by adding together the faults incurred over the course and any
penalties for exceeding the time allowed. In the event of equality of faults after the first round,
there will be one jump-off for first place only in which the time will decide in the event of
equality of faults. To be shown over a course of approximately 10 jumps not to exceed 3’9”.
USEF Meter 1.10 - 1.15
If there are not 12 entered at one hour before the combined class, the entry fee will be
changed to $185 and prize money will be $205 to first and $185 for 2nd thru 8th. To be eligible, horse must have been entered in another jumper class at this horse show.

Hunterdon County I & II] (“Competition”) and agree to all of its provisions. I understand and agree that by entering this Competition, I am subject to Federation Rules,
the Prize List, and local rules of the competition. I agree to waive the right to the use of my photos from the competition, and agree that any actions against the Federation
must be brought in New York State.

I AGREE in consideration for my participation in this Competition to the following:
I AGREE that “the Federation” and “Duncraven Inc. and Duncraven LLC” as used herein includes the Licensee and Competition Management, as well as all of their officials, officers, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers and Federation affiliates.
I AGREE that I choose to participate voluntarily in the Competition with my horse, as a rider, driver, handler, vaulter, longeur, lessee, owner, agent, coach, trainer, or as
parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor. I am fully aware and acknowledge that horse sports and the Competition involve inherent dangerous risks of accident, loss, and
serious bodily injury including broken bones, head injuries, trauma, pain, suffering, or death. (“Harm”).
I AGREE to hold harmless and release the Federation and the Competition from all claims for money damages or otherwise for any Harm to me or my horse and for any
Harm of any nature caused by me or my horse to others, even if the Harm arises or results, directly or indirectly, from the negligence of the Federation or the Competition.
I AGREE to expressly assume all risks of Harm to me or my horse, including Harm resulting from the negligence of the Federation or the Competition.
I AGREE to indemnify (that is, to pay any losses, damages, or costs incurred by) the Federation and the Competition and to hold them harmless with respect to claims for
Harm to me or my horse, and for claims made by others for any Harm caused by me or my horse while at the Competition. I have read the Federation Rules about protective equipment, including GR801 and, if applicable, EV114, and I understand that I am entitled to wear protective equipment without penalty, and I acknowledge that the
Federation strongly encourages me to do so while WARNING that no protective equipment can guard against all injuries. If I am a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor, I consent to the child’s participation and AGREE to all of the above provisions and AGREE to assume all of the obligations of this Release on the child’s behalf. I
represent that I have the requisite training, coaching and abilities to safely compete in this competition.
I AGREE that if I am injured at this competition, the medical personnel treating my injuries may provide information on my injury and treatment to the Federation on the
official USEF accident/injury report form.
BY SIGNING BELOW, I AGREE to be bound by all applicable Federation Rules and all terms and provisions of this entry blank and all terms and provisions of this
Prize List. If I am signing and submitting this Agreement electronically, I acknowledge that my electronic signature shall have the same validity, force and effect as if I
