wastes and the disposal of low level radioactive waste at the East
Northants Resource Management Facility (ENRMF) Stamford Road,
Northamptonshire. PE8 6XX
The application seeks a DCO that will include authorisation for the
following:
Alteration of the operation of a soil treatment facility with an increase
from the currently consented capacity of I 00,000tpa to 1 50,000tpa of
contaminated materials comprising predominantly hazardous wastes.
The soil treatment facility to be consented includes the following
activities:
Screening.
Crushing.
Storage in stockpiles, bunkers and silos.
Material washing.
Stabilisation.
Bioremediation.
Construction of new landfill void for the disposal of hazardous wastes
and low level radioactive waste with an activity of up to 200Bq/g at
a direct input rate of up to 1 50,000tpa.
The continuation of the filling with hazardous waste and low level
radioactive waste of the landfill the subject of the extant planning
consents.
A maximum input rate to the site for all wastes of 250,000tpa.
Extraction and stockpiling of clay and other suitable materials for
engineering purposes and the exportation of some clay and other
suitable materials for use in landfill engineering at the nearby Augean
Thornhaugh Landfill Site and for sale.
The phased restoration of the site to woodland and grassland for
ecological benefit and public access following the completion of
landfilling.
Completion of soil treatment and landfilling by the end of 2026.
The application is "EIA development" for the purposes of the
Infrastructure Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment)
Regulations 2009. Therefore, the Applicant has made environmental
information available. A copy of the details of the application,
environmental information, plans, maps and other documents may be
inspected free of charge at the following location during the hours set
out below:
ENRMF, Stamford Road, Northamptonshire. PE8 6XX From
10.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.
Copies of the documents, plans and maps are available online through
the ENRMF Project link at www.augeanplc.com . They can also be
provided on request from consultation@augeanplc.com or by telephone
01904 654989. A copying charge of £450 for the full suite of documents
will apply for hard copies and £5 for an electronic copy on CD. The
documents will be available at least until the end of June 2012.
A representation giving notice of any interest in or objection to the
application must be made on an Application to Register as an
Interested Party (Relevant Representation) form which can be
completed online or alternatively downloaded from the Planning
Inspectorate website at www.infrastructure.planningportal.gov.uk on
the ENRMF Project page or obtained from The Planning Inspectorate
by telephoning 0303 444 5000.
Forms must be completed on-line or sent to The Planning Inspectorate,
National Infrastructure Directorate, Temple Quay House, Temple
Quay, Bristol. BSI 6PN. The Planning Inspectorate project reference
must be quoted in any correspondence; the reference number is
WSO10001.
Any representation can be made from 20 April 2012 but must be
received by the Planning Inspectorate no later than 1 June 2012. Please

PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS)
ACT 1990
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 69 of the Planning
(Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 the Three Rivers
District Council as local planning authority determined on the 2 April
2012 that the area described in the schedule to this notice is an area
of special architectural or historic interest, and that it is desirable to
preserve or enhance its character or appearance. It has accordingly
extended the Heronsgate Conservation Area so as to include this area.
Copies of the designated map of the Heronsgate Conservation Area
and an appraisal may be inspected at the offices of Three Rivers
District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth
during normal office hours or online at www.threerivers.gov.uk .
The said Act provides, inter alia, that permission must be obtained
from the local planning authority to demolish any buildings within a
Conservation Area.
Anyone proposing to cut down, top, lop, uproot or in any way damage
trees in a Conservation Area must give the local planning authority
six weeks notice of their intention. There are penalties for contravention
of these regulations.

BRANCH ENHANCEMENT) ORDER
NOTICE PUBLICISING A PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR A
DEVELOPMENT CONSENT ORDER (DCO)
Notice is hereby given that Network Rail Infrastructure Limited (the
"Applicant") of Kings Place, 90 York Way, London NI 9AG, proposes
to apply to the Secretary of State under section 37 of the Planning
Act 2008 for the above-mentioned DCO (the "Application").
The Application relates to a new second track on part of the Redditch
branch line which runs between Redditch and Barnt Green Stations
(the "Project"). The new line will run parallel to the existing line. The
branch line is located off the Birmingham-Gloucester Mainline,
approximately 10 miles south of Birmingham. The new track will
commence north of Redditch station and continue for just over 3km
north to, and a little distance beyond, Alvechurch station.
The aim of the Project is to deliver capacity improvements by extending
additional Cross City services from Longbridge to Redditch. Services
to Redditch will increase from two trains per hour to three trains per
hour in each direction.
The proposed DCO would, amongst other things, authorise:
The construction and maintenance of the new permanent railway
described above, as well as the construction of a new station platform
at Alvechurch Railway station and a new footbridge to connect to it
from the existing platform.
Associated development including the diversion of a public footpath
at the southern end of the existing Alvechurch railway station platform,
erecting signal equipment buildings and ancillary works.
The compulsory acquisition of land for the proposed works and
ancillary purposes, including worksites and environmental mitigation,
the acquisition of rights over specified land, provision for the temporary
use of land in connection with the Project, and the extinguishment
and creation of private rights.
Such ancillary, incidental and consequential provisions, permits or
consents as are necessary and/or convenient.

assessment.

Notice is hereby given that Network Rail Infrastructure Limited (the "Applicant") of Kings Place, 90 York Way, London Ni
9AG proposes to apply to the Secretary of Stale under section 37 of The Planning Act 2006 For the above-mentioned DCO
(the "Application").
The Application relates to a new second track on part of the Redditch branch line which runs between Redditch and Barnt Green
Stations the "Project"). The new line will ran parallel to the existing line. The branch line is located off the Birmingham - Gloucester
Mainline, approximately 10 miles south of Birmingham. The new track will commence north of Redditch station and continue for
just over 3kw north 10, and a little distance beyond, Alvechsrch station.
The aim ofthe Project is to deliver capacity improvements by extending additional Cross City services from Longbridge to Redditch.
Services to Redditch will increase from two trains per hoar to three trains per hoar in each direction.
The proposed DCO would, amongst ether things, authorise:

FORA DEVELOPMENT CONSENT ORDER (DCO)
Notice is hereby given that Network Rail Infrastructure
Limited (the ’Applicant") of Kings Place, 90 York Way,
London Ni SAC proposes to apply to the Secretary
of State under section 37 of The Planning Act 2008
for the above-mentioned OCO (the "Application").
The Application relates to a new second track on part
of the Redditch branch line which runs between
Redd itch and Barnt Green Stations (the "Project").
The new line will run parallel to the existing line. The
branch line is located off the Birmingham Gloucester Mainline, approximately 10 miles south of
Birmingham. The new track will commence north of
Redditch station and continue for just over 3km north
to, and a little distance beyond, Alvechurch station.
The aim of the Project is to deliver capacity
improvements by extending additional Cross City
services from Lortgbridge to Redditch. Services to
Redditch will increase from two trains per hour to
three trains per hour in each direction.
The proposed DCO would, amongst other things,
authorise:
-The construction and maintenance of the new
permanent railway described above, as well as the
construction of a new station platform at Alvechurch
Railway station and a new footbridge to connect to it
from the existing platform.
Associated development including the diversion of a
public footpath at the southern end of the existing
Alvechurch railway station platform, erecting signal
equipment buildings and ancillary works.
-The compulsory acquisition of land for the proposed
works and ancillary purposes, including worksites
and environmental mitigation, the acquisition of rights
Over specified land, provision for the temporary use
of land in connection with the Prolect, and the
extinguishmnrrt and creation of private rights.
-Such ancillary, incidental and consequential
provisions, permits or consents as are necessary
and/or convenient.
The Project is not development requiring
environmental impact assessment.
