MINISTRY
Thank you to all who supported the March Pot Pie sale
by placing orders. A total of 375 pies were sold. One
of our most successful pot pie sales! Profits support
projects of the committee. A special thank you to Ginny Murray who coordinated the sale. The next sale
will be in October.
Thank you to the 17 members of the Visitation Committee who delivered 44 tulips at Easter to the homebound and bereaved members of our congregation.

TODAY IS OLDER ADULTS SUNDAY
During the 10 a.m. service, the Committee for Older
Adults will honor all members of the church who have
been with us for 50 years or more, as well as
worshipers who are 65 and older. A luncheon following the worship service will be held in Parish Hall. All
50 year members as well as those who are 65 or older
will be our guests at the luncheon. A special program
will follow the luncheon.

Sunday, April 19th will be Celebrate the Gifts of
Women Sunday. Come join our intergeneration choir
of girls, youth and women of all ages. We sing a
beautiful, but easily singable, piece on that day.
Rehearsal is scheduled on Tuesday, April 14th from
6:30-7:30pm and Sunday morning, April 19th at

Labyrinth Ministry Advocacy Group: Walking a labyrinth can benefit mind,
body and spirit. Lent is the perfect time to deepen your spiritual practice by walking
a labyrinth, either outside as the weather warms or inside using the temporary labyrinth in the sanctuary. Our outside labyrinth is painted on the parking lot surface by
the Education Building and Church Street, and is available to members of the church

It’s back! Registration for the second annual APC Summer Soaker is now
open at runtheday.com
The 5k Race/Walk will be held 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from
APC.
A free 300-meter kids run will follow. There is no need to register for the
kids (12-and-under) run.
5K Registration is $20 per person from now until May 1st.
From May 1 until Race Day, registration is $25 per person.
Race Day registration is $30.
All participants in the 5k are guaranteed a T-Shirt if they sign up before July 4. There will be post-race refreshments
and prizes.
The course runs through the old grounds once owned by APC. Along the way, the community is invited to soak our
runners with water guns and misting hoses. The end of the race features a truck from the Abington Fire Company
cooling off every participant.
Proceeds from the race will support West Kensington Ministries and a donation will be made to the Abington Fire
Company.
