Where is the gamescomCamp located?

Public transportation
From the train station “Köln Messe/Deutz” either take the 15 minute walk along the
Auenweg, or hop on one of these bus lines: 150, 250, 260 and get off at the stop
“Thermalbad”. The bus line 150 runs every 30 minutes from 9:15 am to 22:45 pm.
From Colognes main train station, either take the urban railway (S-Bahn) to the next
stop/train station “Köln Messe/Deutz” (see further directions above), or take the
metro line 17, 18 or 19, get off at “Zoo/Flora” and then cross the “Zoobrücke” by foot
or take the cable car. The gamescomCamp will be signposted!

Please follow the highlighted route on the map above (light blue). Do NOT take
the exit at McDonalds but take the rear exit in the opposite direction. The exit leads to
the “Auenweg” road. From here, you follow the pedestrian path on the right upwards
(about 5 mins.). about 50 m after the 2nd roundabout, just right underneath the big
road bridge “Zoobrücke” you turn left into “Sachsenbergstraße”. On your left is the
thermal spa “Claudius-Therme”. From there, the entrance of the gamescomCamp is
located at the right-hand back section of the parking lot. You pass through the gate
into the Jugendpark from where you can see the white check-in container. There are
signs along the way from the railway station to the camp.

Please follow the highlighted route on the map above (red). At the fair’s north
entrance you cross the road. At the beginning of the parking lot P21 you take the
ramp (not the stairs, watch out for the signs!) to “Zoobrücke”. From there on you walk
straight for about 5 minutes heading towards the Rhine (watch out for the signs on
the ground!) and then use the next exit down from the “Zoobrücke”.
After walking down the ramp, you turn left and you are practically 50meters away
from Jugendpark. The gamescomCamp will be signed out on the ground from
there on.
By Car
Regardless the direction from which you are entering Cologne, please follow the
green signs for "koelnmesse". The signs are also posted on the city expressways.
From the "koelnmesse" or the train station "Köln Messe/Deutz", please look out for
the guideposts "Thermalbad/Claudius Therme". As soon as you enter
Sachsenbergstraße (coming from Auenweg), the "Thermalbad" is located on your
left-hand side. If you keep straight ahead, you will automatically arrive at the camp's
parking lot. The "Jugendpark" and the camp are entered in the right-hand back
section of the parking lot. The gamescomCamp is signposted from the train station
"Köln Messe/Deutz" on.

Parking
There is a parking lot for the gamescomCamp visitors right at the Cologne
"Jugendpark". As the lot is located directly next to the fairground, it must be operated
in order to prevent the regular gamescom visitors from parking. Price is 5€ per day.
You must pay cash right at the entrance of the parking lot. The lot is open 24 hours a
day.

Campsite
The campsite remains open 24 hours a day, starting Tuesday 08/16/16 at 2pm
through Monday 08/22/16 12pm
gamescom fair
The fair is open for private visitors during the following hours: Thursday 08/18/16 and
Friday 08/19/16 from 10 am to 8 pm. Saturday 08/20/16 from 9 am to 8 pm and
Sunday 08/21/16 from 9 am to 6 pm. On 08/17/16 the gamescom will be accessible
for media and professional visitors only from 9 am to 9 pm.
